Schuyler's early life is unknown, as we got her from a shelter. She is a sweet girl who needs more time and exercise than we can give her. She prefers females and children - might be something in her past with an adult male, as she hasn't warmed up to those in our home. :(

Story

Turkey is 4 years old, he gets along well with cats, children and obviously adults. He has problems with dogs, but gets along with one of my friends pug/Chihuahua mix. He is kennel trained and rings a bell on our door to go outside. He is a very good dog, it's just my living situation has changed and soon there will be no one home during the daytime hours, and our evenings are busy .. he deserves more attention. I can include a large wire kennel, leash and collar if needed.

Meet Della, a beautiful 4 year old husky pit bull mix who is patiently waiting for her fresh start this spring. 💛 While she can be a bit shy at first, Della truly shines with a gentle, understanding approach. Once she feels comfortable, she reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature and love for outdoor adventures and belly rubs. Della would thrive with a dog-savvy adopter who can provide the guidance, patience, and active lifestyle she needs to continue building confidence. She is best suited for an adult-only home where she can be the only pet, allowing her to fully relax and form a strong bond with her person. Della’s story is especially meaningful to our shelter. She was deeply loved by longtime volunteer Brian T. Parkinson, who dedicated years to caring for our dogs. As shared in his obituary, “In keeping with his compassionate spirit, Brian’s final wish was to see Della, his favorite shelter dog, find a loving home.” Since his passing in May 2025, Della continues to wait for that special someone. This spring, we hope to honor Brian’s memory by helping Della find the loving home he wished for her.
