Looking for a loyal best friend who just wants to be your girl? Meet Dolly, a sweet 3-year-old mixed breed with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Dolly can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you, once she knows you're kind, she warms up quickly and will happily soak up all the attention. She absolutely loves going for walks, exploring the world by your side, and then coming home to relax with her favorite person. Because Dolly prefers a calmer environment, she would do best in a home without young children. She's looking for someone who understands that the best relationships are built on patience and trust, and once you've earned hers, you'll have a devoted companion for life. If you're searching for a dog who wants nothing more than to make you the center of her universe, Dolly is ready to make you the center of hers. Come meet Dolly today! Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
“You Think I Don't Know Ball?” Meet Emma! At 6 years old, Emma the Pit Bull mix has mastered the art of ball. Fetch? She invented it. Catch? She’s a pro. Tug? Only if you can keep up! With her adorable ears perked and eyes locked in, Emma takes her playtime very seriously - and she wouldn’t have it any other way. But don’t let her athletic skills fool you - Emma’s also a total sweetheart who loves spending time with her favorite people. She’s loyal, affectionate, and will happily snuggle up after she’s proven, once again, that yes… she does know ball. Emma is looking for an experienced adopter who understands her zest for life and can continue her training journey. She’ll need to be the only pet in her home so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She’s also part of our Paws Forward Program, which means her adopter will receive 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s to help Emma keep shining both on and off the field. If you’re ready for a loyal teammate, a goofy best friend, and a champion ball player, Emma is ready to play ball… forever. Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
We are sure you recognize her beautiful eyes, but we are going to remind you who she is anyways. This is Della, a beautiful 6-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix who has been patiently waiting for her fresh start since April of 2024. After 841 days in the shelter, Della is still hoping that the right person will finally walk through our doors and see the incredible dog we know she is. Della can be a bit shy at first, but she truly shines when given a gentle, patient, and understanding approach. Once she feels comfortable, she reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature and her love for outdoor adventures and belly rubs. Della would thrive with a dog-savvy adopter who can provide the guidance, patience, and active lifestyle she needs to continue building confidence. Della is best suited for an adult-only home where she can be the only pet. Having a quiet environment and the opportunity to focus on building a strong bond with her person will help Della feel safe and allow her sweet personality to truly blossom. Della’s story is especially meaningful to our shelter. She was deeply loved by longtime volunteers Brian Parkinson, and Dawn Morris, who dedicated years to caring for our dogs. As shared in Brian's obituary, “In keeping with his compassionate spirit, Brian’s final wish was to see Della, his favorite shelter dog, find a loving home.” Since Dawn's passing in April 2025, and Brian’s passing in May 2025, Della has continued to wait. More than two years have now passed since she first came to us. Through it all, Della has remained hopeful that her person is out there, especially after losing two people who made her life here with us more full. We invite you to visit, learn more about Della, and consider opening your heart and home to this incredibly deserving girl. Can't adopt her? Please share! ❤️

Story
If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts handsome, sweet, and incredibly smart, it's time to meet Ozzie! This 2-year-old fluffy Shepherd mix has a heart as soft as his gorgeous coat. Ozzie is eager to learn, loves spending time with people, and is the kind of dog who's always ready to make you smile. Whether you're exploring the outdoors or relaxing at home, he's happiest just being with his favorite humans. Ozzie is heartworm positive, but don't let that scare you away. Heartworms are parasites that live in a dog's heart and lungs and are spread by mosquito bites. The good news is that heartworm disease is treatable, and we already have a treatment plan in place that we'll happily go over with potential adopters. He deserves a family willing to see past a temporary medical condition and give him the loving home he's been waiting for. Sometimes the very best dogs need someone to take a chance on them. Ozzie has so much love to give, and he can't wait to show his future family just how special he is. Could you be the one to give Ozzie the happy ending he deserves? Come meet this fluffy, lovable boy and see why everyone falls in love with him! Can't adopt? Please share!
