Story
“You Think I Don't Know Ball?” Meet Emma! At 6 years old, Emma the Pit Bull mix has mastered the art of ball. Fetch? She invented it. Catch? She’s a pro. Tug? Only if you can keep up! With her adorable ears perked and eyes locked in, Emma takes her playtime very seriously - and she wouldn’t have it any other way. But don’t let her athletic skills fool you - Emma’s also a total sweetheart who loves spending time with her favorite people. She’s loyal, affectionate, and will happily snuggle up after she’s proven, once again, that yes… she does know ball. Emma is looking for an experienced adopter who understands her zest for life and can continue her training journey. She’ll need to be the only pet in her home so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She’s also part of our Paws Forward Program, which means her adopter will receive 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s to help Emma keep shining both on and off the field. If you’re ready for a loyal teammate, a goofy best friend, and a champion ball player, Emma is ready to play ball… forever. Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
Della is a 5-year-old Pit Bull/Husky mix with a brain full of brilliance and a heart full of love. She’s been with us for 467 days—that’s 467 days of being a volunteer favorite, 467 days of walking her usual routes, and 467 days of dreaming about the great big world with a human of her own by her side. Della is incredibly smart, deeply affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s a hike through the woods or a car ride to anywhere, she’s all in—as long as it’s with you. But finding the right home for Della has been hard. She needs someone experienced, someone who understands that dogs like her—full of curiosity, loyalty, and energy—need structure and time to settle in. She’ll need a home without other pets or children, but if you give her your heart, she’ll give you hers a thousand times over. She’s currently part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, which includes three free training sessions with KindK9s after adoption to help ensure she’s set up for success in her new home. If you’re the kind of person who sees a dog like Della and knows her potential—please come meet her. 467 days is too long.

Story
Meet Coco – Your Future Adventure Partner! Coco is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) with brains, beauty, and boundless energy to match. True to his breed, Coco is smart, driven, and always ready for his next job or adventure. He’s looking for a savvy adopter, ideally someone familiar with Heelers, who understands how important structure, training, and mental enrichment are for a dog like him. Once Coco trusts you, his sweet and loyal side truly shines. He forms strong bonds with his people and is incredibly rewarding for someone willing to put in the time to build that relationship. With his striking good looks and expressive face, it’s hard not to fall for him. Coco would do best in a home without small children, and he may be happiest as the only dog, where he can soak up all the attention and guidance he deserves. He thrives when given clear expectations, consistent routines, and outlets for his energy - think training sessions, enrichment games, and active days. Coco is part of our Paws Forward Program, meaning his future adopter will have 3 free training sessions post adoption with Janette from Kind K9s to help set him up for success. If you’re experienced, active, and looking for a loyal companion who will challenge you in all the best ways, Coco might be your perfect match. Come meet him and see if you’re the person he’s been waiting for. 🐾 Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
Ace doesn’t need much. At 8 years old, this sweet Pit Bull mix is past the busy, high-energy days. What he wants now is simple: a comfortable place to rest, familiar faces, and someone who enjoys his steady, affectionate presence. Ace loves deeply and gently, the kind of dog who settles near you and makes a house feel calmer just by being there. Ace does have medical challenges. He has severe spondylosis and mild hip dysplasia, so his days are slower and carefully managed. He’s on medications for pain control, should stay on activity restrictions, and needs to remain lean so his body isn’t carrying more than it can handle. Because of this, he’s happiest with short, easy routines and plenty of rest. Ace is part of our Forever Foster Program, which means his medical care will continue to be fully provided by us. What we’re searching for isn’t a financial commitment - it’s a compassionate one. A home that understands his needs and is willing to give him comfort, stability, and love. He deserves a soft place to land, where his days can be peaceful and his heart can feel safe. If you can offer that, Ace is ready to be yours. Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
Meet Bori—a 9-year-old Pit Bull with a young heart, a sweet soul, and a love for adventure! He’s been with us for 7 months now, watching his two former canine housemates find their forever homes… and now it’s his turn. Don’t let his age fool you—Bori has plenty of energy and is always up for fun. He’s a pool-loving, tail-wagging, treat-chasing explorer who also knows how to turn on the charm and melt into your side for cuddles. He’s done well living with other dogs before and would love to meet any potential dog siblings with a proper introduction. Bori is part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, which means he’s been learning new skills to help him thrive in a home—and he comes with three free training sessions with Kind K9s after adoption to help him settle in. After 7 months of waiting, and watching his friends go home one by one, Bori is still here. Still sweet. Still hopeful. Still ready to be someone’s best friend. Let’s make sure his wait ends soon. Could that someone be you?
