Story
Hello there! I`m Hillary. I`m a big fan of cuddles, loyalty is my middle name, and I`ve got energy for days. Playtime is the best time, especially when puzzle toys are involved. I`m the reigning queen of those! I`m smart, brave, and have a sense of humor that will keep you on your toes. Goofy? You bet! Curious? Always. I`m friendly to everyone I meet and my sweetness knows no bounds. I`m looking for a family that appreciates my playful energy and loves a good game of puzzle toys. I promise to keep you laughing, be your loyal companion, and shower you with sweetness. Adopt me and let`s make beautiful memories together! I have potential to live with other dogs and kids 16+. No kitty cats please. Please ask my friends at Cherryland about my medical needs!*I am eligible for fostering please reach out to the Foster coordinator at gguerriere@cherrylandhumane.org or by filling out a foster application.

Story
Stephanie is a laid-back lady who’s the perfect mix of friendly and relaxed, with a little touch of hound charm! She might be a bit vocal when she’s looking for attention (we do love a dog who knows what she wants, right?), but that’s just part of her social butterfly personality. Whether you’re lounging at home or out on a walk, Stephanie’s ready to join in the fun with a wagging tail and a happy bounce.Speaking of walks, if you’re looking for a great walking buddy, Stephanie is your girl! She’s amazing on the leash, making every walk feel like a breeze. And with her love for exploring, you’ll both have a blast together. She’s a natural when it comes to outings, just waiting for the next adventure. She’s super gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people, making her the ideal companion for someone who’s ready to give her the attention she deserves. This lovable gal is also a huge fan of booty rubs – seriously, she’s OBSESSED. Stephanie will also play with soft squeaky toys and tennis balls! After a good play session she will settle in for a cozy nap at your feet. She has potential with calm dogs and cats. Stephanie would also do best with kids who can respect her senior dog space and needs. With her easygoing vibe, loving nature, and passion for walks and booty rubs, Stephanie is just waiting for the right family to show her what forever feels like. Could that be you?

Story
Anu is a big, friendly goofball with a heart of gold and yes, he knows it. A total HAM and an absolute love, Anu is the kind of dog who becomes your instant best friend the moment you meet him. He’s social, affectionate, and proudly considers himself a full-time people enthusiast.Anu adores attention and will happily lean in for pets, soaking up every bit of love. He’s smart, cookie-motivated, and playful, with a wonderfully gentle nature and a puppy-like joy for life. He enjoys toys, gets a little bouncy when he’s excited, and does a great job regulating that excitement overall. His adorable underbite sometimes complete with a tooth adorably stuck on his lip only adds to his irresistible charm. He has potential to live with respectful dog-savvy kids, confident cats, and the right dog friend with proper introductions. Anu came to us because his previous owners were moving and couldn’t take him with them, but he’s ready to start his next chapter with a family who will adore him as much as he adores them.As a young, puppy-hearted guy, Anu will benefit from continued training, socialization, and potty training. With his eagerness to please and love of treats, he’s going to be a fun and rewarding companion to work with.If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy, affectionate social butterfly who will love you with his whole heart (and adorable underbite), Anu might just be your perfect match.

Story
Hi friends! My name is Elaine.I arrived at CHS from my friends at Bark Nation, they saved me. Before Bark Nation, I was abused and misguided to what pet ownership really means. Now I am loved, safe, free from pain, called a good girl, receive all the booty rubs, and have all the tennis balls my puppy heart desires. I would make the perfect hiking buddy as its one of my favorite activities (as long as it`s a nice day). Playing in the sun with my favorite toys and my best friends is the dream. My favorite toys are tennis balls and stuffies. If you are looking for a sweet, lovable older gal who is still ready for adventures - call my friends at the shelter to learn more about me. Help me make my dreams come true, I know I deserve it! Please ask my friends at the shelter about my medical needs!I would like to be the only animal in the home and mature kids (16+) for me please.Notes from Elaine’s foster:Elaine has been in our home for almost 6 months. She is such a love! She spends a great deal of her day napping in the sun and loves to follow us from room to room and stay close by to whatever we are doing. She adores all people and approaches them with joy and zeal. She loves meeting everyone! Our house has tween children in the house and she does wonderfully with them. Elaine is curious and sniffs everything. Her favorite activity is to cuddle right next to people and make nests out of blankets. She LOVES stuffies, but shows her love by destroying them. Elaine enjoys walks and can handle some distance, but loves to sniff everything along the way and make lots of stops! She is less interested in the outdoors during snow, rain or cold and prefers quick visits and then a swift return to blankets. We had Elaine loose in the house for months and just closed doors and she did wonderfully. Recently she has shown more separation anxiety and we have gone to crating her while we are away and she has done well with that. Elaine has been very receptive to learning some of the basic norms of household living (this is new to her) and she is even starting to learn to sit, come and leave it. She is very motivated by food during training and all day long. Day to day care for Elaine requires daily medications to help her anxiety and allergies. Her allergies require her to be on a special diet as well. She takes her medicine easily and happily. Twice a week she needs to take a medicated bath, which she does without a fight.

Story
Get ready to fall head over heels for Kibosh! The puppy-eye king with the softest floof and the sweetest soul! This handsome boy has mastered the art of melting hearts with just one look (and maybe a little grin when his lips get stuck on his teeth, it’s ridiculously cute).Kibosh is a gentle, affectionate, and social butterfly who loves meeting new people. He’ll lean right into you for snuggles and booty rubs, and his happy, expressive face makes it hard not to smile right along with him. While he has a playful side, Kibosh is more of a “sniff-and-cuddle” kind of guy, he loves to take in the world one scent at a time.He has potential with kids or the right dog friend. Kibosh says “no thank you” to cats, but he’s more than happy to fill your home with love, loyalty, and the best snuggles around. If you’re looking for a charming companion who’s equal parts floofy, funny, and full of heart, Kibosh is ready to lean into your life and your lap!

Story
Burton is an outgoing, confident, and delightfully goofy boy with a big personality to match his big heart. This strong, playful kid loves to stay busy and isn’t shy about asking for attention. He’ll happily move from person to person leaning in for pets, love, and affection. After a good play session (and yes, some drool), Burton is perfectly content sitting next to his favorite human on the couch. He enjoys playtime and does especially well with durable rubber toys, balls, and tug toys. While he’ll play with soft toys, he prefers sturdier options and can also self-entertain when needed. Burton is playful, social, and enjoys sharing his toys with people.Burton already knows sit and shake, and he’s continuing to learn polite manners, including being more gentle when taking treats and toys. He is very playful with other dogs and may do well with the right dog friend following proper introductions. With continued training, Burton may also have potential to live with confident cats.Due to his enthusiastic and mouthy play style, Burton would do best in a home with children ages 12 and up. He’s an overall silly, fun-loving boy who will thrive in a home ready to keep him engaged, continue his training, and enjoy his affectionate, playful nature.Burton is ready to bring joy, laughs, and lots of love to his future family!
