Story
Are you searching for a fun, affectionate, and endlessly devoted furry friend? Meet Mel, a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier (Pitty mix) who lives to love her people. Mel is full of personality and boundless energy. She thrives on walks, playing fetch, fake wrestling, or simply cuddling up for snuggles. Whether it’s a game or quiet companionship, Mel is always all in. She bonds deeply with her humans and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Her playful spirit and loyal heart make her an ideal companion for someone looking for a one-on-one connection with their pet. Mel would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She struggles with other dogs and finds it stressful to share her space, so a pet-free environment will help her feel secure and happy. Her ideal home would be one with a fenced yard for playtime and someone experienced with strong, spirited dogs--or simply willing to give her the structure and patience she deserves

Story
I have had Kratos since he was a puppy. I left an abusive home about 7 months ago and during the transition, he stayed with my ex until I got my own place. I have been at my current apartment with him for 4 months and the adjustment has not gone well. He does not get along with other dogs, and I live in a very dog friendly community. I am unable to take him for walks due to the high traffic of dogs. He also loves to have a yard and here he just has my small apartment with no yard. I am trying my hardest to find him a good home where he can have room to roam and be a dog. I had a behaviorist look at him and she said he is fearful and with training he could be fine with other dogs. I currently do not have the funds to train him. He did grow up in a home with another dog and has been around my parent's dog as well (he had good and bad days with their dog). He is very loving and cuddly and loves to play fetch. Overall he is a great, goofy, and loyal family dog.

Story
My name is Brownie. I'm a 3yr old brindle mixed lovable sweet girl with lots of energy. Looking for a forever home where I can run and play. I need to be on a doggy line or preferably a fenced in back yard, or I tend to take off to adventure out. When I was younger my owner used to take me for walks but hasn't been able to do that for some time now. I love to snuggle , get belly rubs , wrestle with my adopted brother Boots , get treats after potty breaks and play with hard chew toys. I don't destroy anything but maybe chew on the blanket or sheet that's on my couch/bed. I know I'm spoiled....lol. I'm totally housebroken , don't need to be kenneled when my family is out , and I sleep through the night. I'm allowed in the kitchen and living room with the doors shut on all other rooms. I do get into a little bit of trouble when food is left out. ( I will sneak it.) I will bark and warn you when someone comes by the house , I get excited when people come home and am still learning to not jump on them. I would do best if there were children that are older , no cats in the household and other dogs are questionable except my brother Boots. I do well with car rides but struggle with bath time. I can't wait to meet my new family.

Story
Looking for a fun, energetic best friend who will keep you smiling (and moving)? Meet Chickpea — a bouncy, playful young dog with a heart full of love and personality to spare! Chickpea is a happy, affectionate pup who loves people and has never met a squeaky toy or game of tug he didn’t enjoy. He’s housetrained, smart, and knows his basic commands like Sit and Shake. He’s also highly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding for him — and for you! True to his name, Chickpea is full of zest and spunk. He’s still working on his manners and can get a bit jumpy when he’s excited, so he’ll do best with an adopter who’s ready to help him channel that energy through positive training, exercise, and enrichment. He’d thrive in an active home that loves walks, playtime, and maybe even a bit of adventure. Chickpea has done well with some dogs and enjoys play with tolerant, friendly companions. He’s curious about cats and may do fine with confident, dog-savvy ones after proper introductions. Despite his puppy-like enthusiasm, Chickpea’s favorite thing is still being near his people. He’s loving, loyal, and full of potential — the kind of dog who will blossom with time, structure, and love. Goofy, affectionate, and full of life — Chickpea is ready to bring endless energy and joy to his forever home! 🐶💛

Story
Notes from foster family: After just a week in our home, Hailey is already showing the sweetest signs of progress! She’s slowly venturing out of her crate to explore new spaces, and each little milestone—like picking up a toy for the very first time or taking a few brave steps outside—has been such a joy to witness. Hailey is still a shy girl and isn’t quite ready for lots of attention, but she’s gently opening up at her own pace. She’ll thrive with an adopter who’s patient, loving, and excited to celebrate her small victories as she grows in confidence. With the right person by her side, Hailey has so much potential to blossom into the happy, trusting dog she’s meant to be! If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and cheer on, Hailey might be your perfect match. 💛🐾 -- This dog is not included in any adoption specials or discounts.
