This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write. I'm looking for a loving, experienced home for my 5-year-old pit bull mix, Louie. She has been with me since she was 6 weeks old and is deeply loved. This is not a decision I've made lightly. Louie is wonderful with people. She loves attention, cuddling, playing fetch and tug, and being close to her person. At home she's calm, affectionate, and happiest curled up beside you after a day of play. However, Louie is reactive to other animals. She becomes very anxious around dogs and has a strong prey drive toward small animals. Recently she seriously injured another dog, and I can no longer safely manage the risk. Because of that, Louie needs: An adult-only or dog-savvy home. To be the only pet. A securely fenced yard. Someone experienced with reactive dogs who is willing to continue her training and management. I am not asking for a rehoming fee because my priority is finding the right fit, not

Meet KoKo your gorgeous new playmate! KoKo is 4 turning 5 in a few months. She is very good with kids and animals of all kinds. She is house trained and knows a few tricks (sit, shake with both paws, high five with both paws, up and gentle). She is currently up to date with most of her shots but does need her rabies shot here soon. Koko is very shy at first but will be all over you within 5 minutes of meeting. She does have slight separation anxiety when in the crate but does consider the crate as her safe place (she likes to lay and play with toys in it). Only other major thing is she isn’t the best with car rides unless someone is holding her. I’m moving and unfortunately cannot take her with me but she is very eager to meet her new forever home and to make lots of amazing memories!
