Story
Are you searching for a fun, affectionate, and endlessly devoted furry friend? Meet Mel, a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier (Pitty mix) who lives to love her people. Mel is full of personality and boundless energy. She thrives on walks, playing fetch, fake wrestling, or simply cuddling up for snuggles. Whether it’s a game or quiet companionship, Mel is always all in. She bonds deeply with her humans and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Her playful spirit and loyal heart make her an ideal companion for someone looking for a one-on-one connection with their pet. Mel would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She struggles with other dogs and finds it stressful to share her space, so a pet-free environment will help her feel secure and happy. Her ideal home would be one with a fenced yard for playtime and someone experienced with strong, spirited dogs--or simply willing to give her the structure and patience she deserves

Story
Milo is a very happy boy! And well-trained. He has been trained by a professional trainer. I just have too many personal issues that have developed over the last few months and Milo deserves more attention than I am able to give to him.

Story
Rachel was born in 2018 and I got her from a farmer in Canada. Before I adopted her, Rachel was living in a dark and dirty garage without any socialization whatsoever. Now, she is a happy dog who loves food and treats; she is crate trained; potty trained; she does not destroy furniture; she rarely barks and can be left alone at home without a crate. She loves new toys and needs someone to play with her. She was raised with children in the house and other pets, and never bit anyone. But I think she would rather not be disturbed by another dog, she prefers to be the only dog in the household. She is definitely a guard dog and does not tolerate seeing strangers close to those she vows to protect. However, she does not have much energy or interest in long walks and prefers to lay down and chill on the couch with her pack.

Birthdate 10/22/2022 How long have you owned the dog? 2 years Where did you get the dog from? a co-workers friend Do you have vet records? yes What is the dog's approximate weight? Extra-large (90lbs) Is the dog fixed? Yes Asher is a wonderful dog with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, due to our current circumstances, we are unable to provide the time and attention that he needs and deserves. His high energy levels require more exercise and engagement than we can offer, and we worry that he is not getting the quality of life he should have.

Brad has a ton of energy and loves to play with everyone - kids, dogs, and cats alike! But when he’s finally tired, he will whine until someone puts him on a cozy blanket or snuggles him and then he’s happy as can be!

Story
Hello! My name is Lou. I will be turning 6 on June 20th, and on the top of my birthday wishlist is a forever home to celebrate in and my forever people to celebrate with! Additionally, I wouldn't say no to a Ben and Jerry's Doggie Dessert - Potch's Mix (I've been spoiled!). My ideal household environment would look like the following: - Feline - free - Kids 8 years + - Due to my size, a house would be ideal; apartment living may not be for me. - Large fenced-in yard - Only pet / Doggy sibling - Stairs? No problem! I currently live in a foster home with two adults. I have been enjoying the quieter style of living and all the perks of being an only child. About me: - I live my best life when I am participating in all the outdoor activities (going to the beach, hiking, running, etc.) and would like my ideal humans to match my adventurous spirit! - I like to sleep in late and go to bed early! I do enjoy a good nap. - Plain 'ol dry kibble? Forget it. I like my mush (dry kibble mixed with water / wet food topper). - My favorite high-value treats are cheese, hot dog, watermelon (bonus if it's frozen!), and doggy-approved ice cream / pup cups. - I LOVE tummy rubs and snuggles. I give lots of kisses!! There will not be a dry face in the house. - My favorite toys are those that squeak and tennis balls. Lots and lots of tennis balls!! - I enjoy car rides. I love the wind through my fur and a pup cup detour! - It is my sole job to protect my people. If I know you are in the house, I like to know where you are at all times, and do not appreciate closed doors or gates separating us - fair warning, you will hear me whine and bark until you come back into the room- just want to make sure you are safe! Still unsure about me? I have a list of references. Here are some quotes: "Lou is very respectful. He is fully housetrained and potty-trained. He has been left alone up to 8 hours without household destruction / bathroom accidents. He utilizes an open-door crate as his safe space." "Lou is very polite. He will place his head on the edge of your bed and couch as his way of asking permission to jump up. He will otherwise enjoy laying by your feet or on his doggy bed. Lou may give you the puppy face, but will not jump and beg for food." "Lou walks great on leash. He enjoys meeting other dogs and people." Looking forward to meeting you! Love, Lou
