Story

Finn is about 7 years old and we’ve had him since he was a puppy. He’s a loyal, laid-back dog who loves naps on the couch, laying in the sun, and being close to his people. He’s housebroken, knows a few basic commands/tricks like sit, lay down, and fist bump, and does well with our other dog.Finn was a “Covid dog,” so he didn’t get much socialization early on and can be very nervous around new people. Because of that, he does not warm up quickly to strangers and has bitten a few times when uncomfortable or scared. He can also be very clingy with the people he trusts.He would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands anxious/reactive dogs, can respect his boundaries, and is willing to give him time to adjust. Once he trusts you, he’s a sweet, funny companion who just wants a calm place to relax and feel safe.This is a hard decision for us, but due to our upcoming move, we can’t take Finn with us. We’re hoping to find him a loving home where he can thrive.

Koda is a sweet boy and loves cuddle and play tugawar, and fetch. He is more of a gaurd dog and does not do well around others. He will bark or snap at others/animals when walking on a leash. He will need training. He will go potty outside when taken out at the right times. I am hoping to find someone to give him a home that will give him the attention he requires. He is a sweetie.

She seeks to make friends everywhere she goes, and is great with kids of all ages and cats.As time goes by I find myself committed to a restaurant with ever changing hours and sometimes very long shifts. Friends and family come by to take her for walks when I work, but at ten years Effy still has an amazing amount of energy and zoomies in her. (She can run faster than any dog I've ever seen, I was surprised her DNA test had no greyhound.)I dearly hope someone who has a more accommodating lifestyle would be able to love her and give her her best possible life.
