Story
Hi!  My name is Paisley.  I came from a very bad situation in Ionia County, but now I'm safe. I need some confidence building and some tough snuggles!  I'm a little girl and just want to have a forever family that will treat me with respect and love. I am a good girl and am learning to play with toys at just 13 weeks old.  I'm 16lbs, but I'm getting bigger by the minute because I have been free fed since I was starving where I was at.  Please go to Michelesrescue.com and fill out an application for preapproval for me. ##2659592##

Story
My siblings and I were born on Christmas and we are super sweet just like our mama! We are all looking forward to our forever homes once we are old enough to go!  Please note this will be a pre-adoption: once they are large enough to be given shots and all needed medical treatment, you will be able to bring them home!  Please fill out an application for me at michelesrescue.com. ##2622471##

Story
Meet Bonnie: She's a beautiful young lady at 1.5 years old. She enjoys watching the kids play and sled in the backyard and equally enjoys cuddles and affection. Still possessing some puppy characteristics, she would benefit from some introductory obedience training but takes direction well and knows to sit, wait, and even knows her release word, "Pickle." Bonnie will be the only dog in the house. No cats. She is housebroken and crated trained.  If you are interested in meeting Bonnie in person please, apply today at michelesrescue.com! ##2162062##

Story
Nala is our 5-year-old fur baby, adopted at 6 months. She’s grown up with our other pets, but over the past year we’ve seen troubling behavior: at times she unexpectedly reacts negatively towards the cats and our other dog. It’s heartbreaking to watch her shift between her sweet nature and sudden aggression. She also growls at my kids’ friends and at my elderly father, though she has never bitten anyone. The aggression is sudden and quick. Never lasting more than a minute or two. Then she is back to normal. With our children, Nala is gentle, loving, and snuggly. She walks well on a leash, enjoys relaxing on furniture, and loves spending time in our fenced yard, though she may bark excitedly and jump on adult visitors. She has occasional ear infections. Deciding to part with her is incredibly hard. She’s more than a pet—she’s family. Sadly, we can’t afford the training and support she needs to thrive, and we want the best possible future for her. Willing to work with potential adopters
