URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Elk Mound, WI Atlas is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Atlas is nervous around strangers. He hasn’t been tested around older children. He is good with cats! No dogs or younger children, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with her younger children. He has to go by 4/28! If you think you can provide a great home for Atlas, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Atlas. Owner’s Contact Information: Tara Bettasso at (715) 450-1145 or tarabettasso@gmail.com.

Hope for Honduras Transport! Muzzle here! Just wanted to say "hi" to all you readers out there and let you know I’m doing well in my foster home! I have been busy playing outside and napping on the couch. My foster mom calls me a “mama’s boy” because I always want to be by her. I’m still working on warming up to foster dad, but he gives me food so I’m starting to come around to him. You see, new people, places, and things are really scary for me. I need lots of time and patience but once I am comfortable, you will see what a sweet boy I really am! Apply for me today at michelesrescue.com! ##1891385##

Hope for Honduras Transport, Pup #20! Hi, there! Batman here. I’m 55 pounds of pure love. As I am getting my heartworm treatments, I’m super chill and relaxed around the house and when I meet new people. But I love to get belly rubs and play with toys. I sleep well in my crate and on the couch. And I love to hang out with my foster doggy siblings. My Foster Mom says that I’ve been through a lot coming all the way from Roatan, but I don’t know what that really means other than I love to be part of a family. If you’re looking for a quiet guy, I might just be the one for you. Fill out an application to meet me at michelesrescue.com! ##1891377##

Story
HOPE FOR HONDURAS TRANSPORT We sat down with Tan Boots for a very important interview! Where are you from? I was at a shelter in Roatan that was abandoned. Some very nice people worked really hard to get me and LOT of other animals relocated to other rescues so we could find our new homes. How has your move to Michigan been? I was very scared at first. It's taken me some time to feel comfortable around new people. How would you say your comfort level is now? I'm still working on it. I get startled easily from loud noises. Would you say you're a cuddle bug? Not yet. My foster mom wants to give me these things called hugs, but I'm not ready for that close of contact. How do you feel about your foster home? I like it here. My foster dad says that I'm learning how to communicate with humans. I don't like it when my foster mom leaves and goes to work. Do you know basic commands? What are those? Are you crate and house trained? Yes. I sleep in my crate at night and go into it when my foster parents leave. I learned how to let them know I want outside and have not had any accidents on the floor. What would be your best home? A loving, patient and consistent. I need time to feel comfortable around new people and surroundings. Tan Boots is around 2 years old and about 43 pounds. Apply at michelesrescue.com to meet this amazing girl! ##1891482##
