Hershey is a tiny little havapoo puppy - a cross of a Havanese and a toy poodle.  He was born 3/28/23 in a commercial kennel, then consigned to a dog breeder auction as a potential stud dog.  Instead he was purchased into rescue so he can spend his life as a pampered pet rather than in a breeder's pen. Cheyenne is a sweet little cocker spaniel puppy, born 8/8/23. She has ACA (American Canine Association) puppy registration papers. She was born in a commercial kennel, then consigned to a dog breeder auction as a prospective breeding dog.  Instead she was purchased into rescue so she can enjoy tummy rubs and warm beds instead of spending her life pumping out puppies. She is a little shy, but super-sweet and good with other dogs.   She is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and wormings.  A week after she arrived here she developed a cherry eye.  My vet says cockers are genetically prone to this, and that it can be corrected surgically at the same time she is spayed so she doesn't have to undergo 2 surgeries. She weighed 11 pounds 14 ounces on 11/29/23. Because she is too young to be spayed, she will be placed with a spay contract.  When proof of surgery has been received, adopter will be mailed a rebate check for $50.00.
