Story
****Please read below of our amazing Floyd. Floyd was found wandering our parking lot with a leash and a harness on back in August 2023!! No microchipped at that time and no owners ever came for him. He is very energetic, does good with other dogs when slowly introduced and does ok with cats. He does bark at new people and dogs but he is a goofball and is sweet once he gets to know you. He has grown so much and is such a smart boy! Daniele Ruley our Dog trainer has been working with him on his leash manners and teaching this young man some tricks as well. Floyd is very energetic, but he's still a puppy. We guess around 7 months old. We believe Flody to be a Pit-bull type dog possibly mixed with Jack Russell. Feel free to call us at (505)662-8179 for any questions about Floyd, or you can stop by any day except for Wednesday between 11am- 5pm to meet with him. Floyd is located at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, address 226 East Road Los Alamos, NM 87544

Story
Meet this lovely sweet girl named Iris. Iris is an approximately 5- year old, medium sized Shepherd Mix (best guess). She is friendly with people and has moderate to high energy. Iris exhibits leash reactivity / aggression towards other dogs and would beneift from further leash training and controlled socialization. Iris would also benefit from further basic obedience and engagement trainint with her new person/ famile. Iris needs to go to an only dog home unless adopted by a very experienced owner. -Daniele Ruley !Trainer! (The pawsitive K9 ph#:209-701-3647) Daniele Rueley is willing to donate One (1) Free 60 minute training session to Iris' furture adopter. If you are interested in Iris please call us at (505)662-8179 or stop on by at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter located at 226 East Road Los Alamos, NM 87544 to meet her.
