Story
With a heavy heart, we’re looking to rehome our 7-year-old Sheepadoodle. Since having our toddler, our busy family life has made it difficult to give him the time, attention, exercise, and structure he truly deserves. He is a loving, intelligent dog who thrives with consistency and activity. Without enough exercise, he can become anxious and high-energy. Because of his large size and excitement level, we feel he would do best in a home that can better meet his needs. He has had training in the past and responded very well to it. He’s a smart boy who would benefit from continued training and routine. He loves walks, cuddling, lap time, and all the butt rubs he can get. This decision comes from a place of love—we want him to have the happy, fulfilling life he deserves with a family who can give him the attention and activity he enjoys.

Story
My elderly mom adopted Penelope in August 2025. My mother soon realized Penelope was more herding dog than lap dog. She was unable to keep her because her instinct to herd is dominant and the dog needed more, definitely more than my mom could give.My mom agreed to let me bring the dog to my house, which is more active. I have kids and another dog, and we can exercise her. She still chews things but I genuinely believe if she was in the right environment she would chew less.Penelope is a good dog, She is crate trained and housebroken. We have fallen in love with her! But, we are not the right fit for her. She is a working dog and needs to be outside. Please help us find Penelope Rose her forever home.
