Story
Momma dog was living on the streets with her puppies at an abandoned house. Momma Dog is a very sweet dog and gets along with our dogs. She loves to play with them, she will chase after them and they will chase after her. She loves to sleep on the couch. We have been working on walking with a leash. She goes potty outside. We think she might be older because she is so calm. She loved toys and loves to get love. ##1914720##

Story
Luca came to Oklahome as another case of dumped/abandoned puppy in Oklahoma. He is now almost a year old and is ready to meet his new forever family! Luca absolutely loves other dogs and doesn't know a stranger. Luca loves to play with the dogs in his foster home, romp outside, and curl up with a toy or five! We will never fully understand how so many perfect dogs end up in rescue, but we will keep fighting to find their lucky forever families! Luca is estimated to be a year old, neutered, up to date on shots and heart worm preventatives, good with other dogs, kid friendly, kennel and house trained! Luca knows sit, lay down, and is working on roll over! He loves plays fetch but forgets that he has to return the ball in order for it to be thrown again If Luca sounds like your perfect fit, please apply to adopt him! ##1898880##

Story
Miley is young and full of energy. She has been eager to play with any humans and dogs she's met so far. She has greeted everyone with a wagging tail. She was found in South OKC and was very gentle and sweet when offered a foster home. She has come into herself a bit now that she has been cleaned up and fed routinely. She walks on a leash great and has even enjoyed some runs in her foster neighborhood. She plays with children great, and even tolerates car rides and bath time gracefully. Miley loves tennis balls and peanut butter! Miley seems to be excitedly curious about cats, but we can't confirm how well she plays with them. When in the backyard Miley enjoys patrolling the fence line, but never digging or chewing. She is so filled with love and ready for a family to give her the great life she deserves!"   ##2042451##

Story
Red is looking for a home where he can be your one and only. No other dogs or cats. Red loves his humans and cuddles. He would like nothing more than to run around outside and chase squirrels and then come hang with you on the couch.  He is approximately 4 years old and 75lbs, he’s a big boy who doesn’t quite know it. So a house without children may be best due to his size. Red has been through a lot in his life, he was found with his siblings living outside after a house fire. Since then he’s been in a loving home for 2 years, but unfortunately him and the other male dog are now not getting along which is not an ideal forever situation. Red is 100% crate trained, goes in without any fuss, potty trained, walks well on a leash, loves car rides, meeting new people  and knows a few commands. This sweet boy deserves to have all the love and attention that he gives to his people. He is all things we love about pittys. Silly, athletic, cuddly, loyal, thinks he’s a lap dog and the best forehead wrinkles. ##1225135##

Story
Sammy's transformation has been absolutely amazing to witness! From an incredibly rough start to a perfectly clean bill of health, this gorgeous boy is now ready for a loving home.   Sammy came to Oklahome in February 2023 after being found dumped in Rural Oklahoma. He was extremely malnourished, riddled with infections, and had multiple wounds covering his body. To make matters worse, the vet discovered that he was heart worm positive. It took months of intensive treatment and recovery that included special medicated baths, multiple medications, and cage rest after his heartworm treatment, but today Sammy is a perfectly healthy and happy and healthy boy! Sammy is good with kids, but can be selective with dogs, so he is best as a single pet. He is completely potty and crate trained and he would make an excellent companion for someone who is looking for a resilient and loyal friend to be their one and only. ##1641443##
