Story
Fuse is a fantastic dog who loves to play fetch. He's very loving and likes to play outside. Fuse loves getting his back scratched and will curl up against your legs. He will wrap his front paws around your legs and give hugs, and he gives sweet kisses and sits on command. He loves to play with ice. Good with other dogs and he'd love to have a dog brother or sister. Sister would be preferred :) No kitties for this boy though. Crate trained. He is a little mouthy (when playing he uses his mouth like other dogs play with each other) so the children in the home should be teens or older. Adoption fee for all dogs over 4 months is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.

Story
Jo Jo is such a cutie! He has the cutest ears that don't quite stand up! This beautiful lean boy would be a great partner for a hiker or camper! Not only would he keep you safe on the trail, but he would enjoy every minute exploring the wilds with you! He can be shy when he meets new people, but comes around quickly when he sees you as a safe person. We think he would do best in an adult home as an only pet. He loves toys and will play as long as you want to! Jo Jo needed some work when he came to us. We're still working on some things with him and he has blossomed into such a cool little dog. Currently, our staff, and a trainer have been working on his jumping habit (jumping on people, not over fences), and socializing him with new people. He really needs someone to give him a shot at living his dreams! To adopt Jojo apply using the link below: https://www.petsandpeople.com/adoption-questionnaire/ Adoption fee for all dogs over 4 months is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.

Story
Meet Odin. He is a handsome pit mix that was found wandering in a neighborhood not knowing who to trust and terribly under weight. Luckily for him some kind people rescued him and took him to a safe place. He has blossomed at the shelter and loves people and other dogs. He has the most soulful eyes that really look in to your heart : ) He is also good on a leash which is a good thing since he is a big boy weighing over 65 lbs and he hasn't quite filled out yet ! Adoption fee for all dogs and puppies is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.

Story
This is Ramona. We call her Miss Mona. Mona has lots of love to give to a female owner or household. However, with lots of trust earning and patience, one man might not be too bad. She could learn to show love to a patient man that has lots of time to devote to her. She really isn't fond of the other dogs. Other dogs have been mean to her in the past, so she has some PTSD. Smaller animals, like cats, probably won't like her either, as she likes to chase them. She is super gentle taking treats from hands, and has no food aggression. She is also very food motivated, and loves to please her people. Miss Mona is fully potty trained, but sometimes is a little too subtle when it comes to letting you know she needs to go outside. She had a doggy door in her foster home, and she loved that. Mona is just fine being left alone when gone for short periods of time. She hasn't been given the chance to free roam for a full day, but so far, no destructive behavior. She likes to chew! So, toys made for mega chewers, she loves the most. She likes to shred her stuffed toys, but won't try and shred anything that wasn't given to her. She absolutely loves to fetch, as well, and thoroughly enjoys being outdoors. Currently, our staff are working with her on her leash manners. We haven't had much luck in a harness, but a Gentle Leader head collar works the best. We have a trainer come out once a week to help her socialize with other dogs, and people. She can be stingy with her toys and food, so that's another thing we're working on. She is active, so she would love a yard to play in or a walking/running buddy. She is SUPER sweet and friendly. Her tail goes non stop when she's happy. Ramona is short and thick, around 40-50 lbs but in a very compact package. For details on adoption please visit www.petsandpeople.com/adopt/ We get many emails each day so please watch your spam/trash folders for our replies. Adoption fee for all dogs over 4 months is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.

Story
Scooby is about a year and 1/2 old Great Dane/Boxer mix. He is about 60 -70. pounds. Scooby is so sweet and it was hard for his foster mom to get great pics because Scooby loves to be super close to her. As she would take a step back to get his face in the frame of the picture, then he just scooted forward. He is a big sweetheart. He is very energetic and LOVES to chase balls and squeak toys. Scooby is crate trained and potty trained. Scooby's time was up at a local shelter and he knows his foster mom said yes to him right on time. He showers her with lots of love. No kitties for Scooby. He thinks those are just funny looking squirrels. If you are interested in Scooby, please email adoptions@petsandpeople.com and our adoption volunteer will share our questionnaire. Once approved, we will set an appointment for you to meet and adopt Scooby. Please share Scooby. He would do well in an active family and he gets along well with other dogs.
