Story
Meet Kaine! He is a sweet, adventurous young boy. He is timid at first, a bit nervous of new people but when he's comfortable his true personality shines through. Kaine loves to play fetch in the yard, and enjoys zooming around. He is a highly intelligent boy, and is super trainable. He may have some silly puppy moments but is easily redirected with treats and positive reinforcement. Kaine enjoys the company of other canine companions, and plays very nicely with all of the dogs he has interacted with in the shelter. That being said, he would do best in a house with either one female dog or by himself. He has not had any interaction with cats.Kaine has been microchipped, neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Kaine, please call 705-878-4618 or email info@hskl.ca

Meet Kiwi!Kiwi is a loving puppy looking for her forever home. She is house trained, does well in a crate, and doesn't get into things around the house. She loves to cuddle and stay close to her person. She will play with her toys or chew on her kong right at your feet while your watching tv! Kiwi has been working on her jumping up as well as her leash manners, and she is improving greatly. She is still young, and requires some extra training to manage her energy levels. Kiwi would love a canine companion to spend her days running with, she is not so keen on feline friends or other small animals. Kiwi has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. If you would like to meet Kiwi please fill out the dog adoption application and give us a call at 705-878-4618. Kiwi is in a foster home so her appointments must be scheduled ahead of time!

Story
Jewels embodies a deep connection to her rural roots, having spent her formative years on a farm with ample room to explore and play. She is familiar with cattle and chickens, does not approve of cats and can be selective of dogs. Jewels has been around kids and seemed comfortable with them. Proficient in her recall and demonstrating basic obedience, she excels in these areas. While she currently grapples with leash etiquette, she's actively addressing this during her stay here with us. Jewels is not the type of dog to jump on furniture, and hasn't displayed any destructive behaviours when left alone at home - except maybe the occasional stuffed toy.Possessing a delightful temperament, Jewels is poised to be an exceptional companion.
