Lila was adopted from the shelter in 2020, she is very active and loving. Has been around kids ranging from newborn to 13 years. Loves running, jumping, and best of all, cuddling. Would be better off as an only dog, becomes very protective of owner and an alpha. Needs a lot of space to run with a high fence. Story

Momma was found in a crate with another dog on the side of the road in Wilkes Barre last May. My fiancé had called me from work and said he was bringing them home because of the poor conditions they were in. After emergency vet care we found out that Momma was having a litter of puppies and was used just to breed. In August of 2024 we welcomed 9 beautiful puppies(which brought our total of dogs to 13) We were able to rehome every puppy and the other dog that was in the crate with momma. My fiancé and I decided we were going to work with Momma so we were able to keep her. In May my fiancé was arrested and has been in jail since. I work 12 hours a day and it's unfair that she's locked in a cage 13 hours a day. I have made the decision based on her best interest to give her to someone who has more time on their hands and can afford her. Moneys tight at the moment and I just want the best life for her after the horrible life she has lived since birth according to the vet.

This gorgeous hound has been with us for quite some time. He does not "show" well, because once he is comfortable in an environment and knows it as his home, he can be defensive and protective when meeting new people/strangers. Once he knows and trusts you (which doesn't take long at all), he is such terrific dog! He's not destructive, he's housetrained, affectionate, happy, and playful. He loves to lay in the sun and loves being outdoors. He generally does well with other dogs, but does NOT share food or toys well, so that must be monitored. He just needs an special owner who understands how to introduce him to new people and lead him properly.
