Needs experienced adopter,
Story
We have a Red Merle Australian Shepherd that turned 3 on May 12th that we are looking to rehome. Due to our schedule we don’t have time to give him the attention he needs or the means to be able to let him exercise like he needs. He does have some food aggression and can some times be irritable. He has snapped at my kids a few times when food is around but hasn’t bit them, my wife and I are nervous to have him around the kids. Due to our schedule we have to board him often and we are always told he is such a good dog and plays well with others. We would prefer for him to go to a home that could allow him to run freely like he was bred to. He is up to date on his shots and can provide a vaccine record. He is full blooded but not AKC registered.

Story
Willow is an active, loving girl. She absolutely loves to chase a ball! Willow gets nervous, so she would do best in a calm home where she is the only fur baby. She loves people who are kind to her, and would make a wonderful walking buddy.  Willow is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and tested for parasites. She is available for adoption in a home where she will be allowed inside as part of the family.  ##842558##

Story
Lil Guy is a senior looking for a quiet home to live out the rest of his life. He bonds easily and loves to be near his human! He still loves to play especially with a laser light. He is not a fan of cats, but gets along with other dogs similar in size. Unfortunately, Lil Guy has always struggled with housetraining but does ok when he's walked regularly and wears male wraps inside.  Adoption fee will be waived if we are able to find the right home.  ##1389028##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bobbi Jo is a petite 5-year-old female Tree Walker Coonhound. She is spayed, micro chipped, appropriatly vaccinated and treated for parasites. Heart worm positive Bobbi was a last-minute save; time had run out for her at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter. Treatment for heart worms is expensive, the cost made her a less desirable rescue for many. The Hart County Humane Society couldn't turn our back on this sweet girl, we have treated Bobbi to rid her of the nasty parasites, she is now healthy and ready for her forever family. Bobbi Jo is energetic dog; her breed requires a lot of exercise and room to run. This sweet dog knows she was rescued, she is eager to learn and please those who are kind to her. She is house/crate trained, loves other dogs and people, due to a strong prey drive she should not be in a home with cats. Applications to adopt our deserving Bobbi Jo can be found at harthumane.org.  The Hart County Humane Society receives no government funding and relies on donations to fund our life saving programs. If you would like to join our mission to save the lives of shelter animals, please send donations to Hart County Humane Society P.O.BOX 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643 or visit harthumane.org to donate online.  ##1601509##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Macie came to us as part of a pack of 4 stray dogs. The rest of the dogs have found their forever homes, but sweet Macie is still waiting.  Macie is friendly and affectionate and loves people. She is picky about what dogs she likes. Macie was the alpha female in her pack, and she's used to that. She should not be in a home with cats.  At under 40lbs, Macie is a good fit for most households. She loves to play and go for walks. She would make a wonderful walking/hiking buddy! We do not know if she is truly house trained, but she keeps her kennel clean. Macie is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and tested for parasites. She is available to a home where she will be allowed inside as part of the family.  ##1559823##
