2 dogs. Pepermint black/white chihuahua/ jack russel 10 years old. Charlie brown chihuahua/dachshund 7 years old. Owner has moved to nursing home. I have fostered them since 3/2024. 1 year rabies and parvo/distemper 3/2024. Negative for heart worms and preventative treatment monthly since 3/2024. Treated monthly with Simparica for flea and tick prevention since 3/2024. Both eat dry small dog food. Friendly with small children and strangers. Eagerly enters 2 carriers which we will donate along with stainless feed/water bowls, harnesses and leashes. I do not know if either have been spayed but neither have been in heat for at least a year. They have lived inside until I got them 3/2024 and with cold weather coming they should move in with someone as companions.

Story
WILL SPAY AND VACCINATE PRIOR TO ADOPTION I found Daisy starving and alone along the side of the road on what had initially began as a normal day. However, my foot mashed the brakes before my brain could tell it to do so, and my hand opened my passenger door of its own accord. This sweet girl tentatively hopped in for a ride. I’m hoping that this ride can lead her to a better life than what she’d had before. Daisy is gentle and loving; she often finds warm spots to lay next to your feet while you complete daily tasks. She is good with both small dogs and big ones and a little scared of my cat. She has been rehabilitated from her prior state and trained in daily living. She is quiet and easy going and the brightest part of her day is always time with you. Daisy was a mama left without her pups. The care and compassion she wasn’t shown she gives tenfold. She enjoys long naps in the sunshine and and cuddling on the couch. Give her a home; she’ll be so grateful!

Story
Joey is a loving, 10-month-old mixed breed who loves cuddles and playtime. Unfortunately, he's developed food aggression towards smaller dogs, making it difficult to keep him safe in our home. We're searching for a patient and understanding owner to give him a chance. He's great with people. We're asking a small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a suitable home. We'll provide support during the transition. A home without smaller animals or as an only pet would be ideal. He gets along great with my spayed 40 lb female.

Story
Willow is an active, loving girl. She absolutely loves to chase a ball! Willow gets nervous, so she would do best in a calm home where she is the only fur baby. She loves people who are kind to her, and would make a wonderful walking buddy.  Willow is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and tested for parasites. She is available for adoption in a home where she will be allowed inside as part of the family.  Willow has recently graduated from PetSmart's Beginner obedience class. There is no adoption fee for Willow. This fee has been underwritten by a couple of her favorite volunteers. Small active children can make Willow nervous and reactive. She needs a home with adults or older children. ##842558##
