Story
Nicholas is estimated at being 5 years old and is full-blooded Boston Terrier. What a great little guy Nicholas is. He likes to pick his humans. Then he will follow their every move. Nicholas tends to like females a bit more, but is open to a relationship with everyone in the household. Nicholas is pee pad trained and will go outside to go to the bathroom, if his human will go with him. Nicholas does prefer to go inside in the comforts of his home on designated pee pads throughout the house. Nicholas has a little rebellious streak to him. If he does not like what is asked of him, he will bark to let you know. He will eventually succumb to the command given and do what he's told. He knows some commands, such as sit and down. Nicholas prefers a diet of soft and hard food mixed together, with more soft food than hard. He loves getting loved on by his favorite human. He enjoys belly rubs, hugs, and kisses. We do not recommend Nicholas for a house with younger children, as he can be a bit nippie when pushed to his limits. Nicholas is fully vaccinated and current on his flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He is neutered as well. Nicholas's adoption fee is $200 and preference will be shown to individuals that have breed experience.

Story
What can we say about Dina. She is a Husky trapped in a Pit Bull's body. Dina is a 1 year old Pit/Husky/Cattle Dog mix, spayed female. She is up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has loads of energy to spare for anyone else who wishes to play with her. She is excitable and loves to talk in the old Husky fashion. She is definitely not afraid to voice her opinion, so she is not recommended for apartment living. She will definitely need to be leashed or in a fenced in yard. Dina was rescued from up underneath a junk pile, in the middle of the woods, trying to provide enough milk for her 9 puppies. She was just a puppy herself when she got pregnant. Despite no real human love in her beginning, she has so much love to give her humans. She is always ready for a belly rub and head scratches when she sees her humans. We have not tested Dina around small children, but recommend supervised interactions. She is very excitable and jumps when excited. She is good with other dogs after a slow introduction and has not been tested with cats or small animals. Dina would be best suited for an active family that can give her tasks to do to keep her on the straight and narrow. After all she had no direction in her life before meeting us.

Story
Meet this happy boy, Banks! Banks came into the shelter back in January with his sister who has already been adopted. We estimate him to be around a year old. Banks is an energetic boy but he also loves to be loved on! He doesn't meet a stranger and he gets along with other dogs very well. Banks isn't a very big boy so he is the perfect size for any family! We would love to see him find a forever home because being kenneled at the shelter does seem to stress his sweet self out. If you are interested in adopting Banks, please fill out an application on our website so we can set you up an appointment to come meet him at the shelter.  ##2270455##
