Story
Meet the "D pups. These 7 babies and their mom Dawny B ended up in an overly full shelter in the middle of winter. Thankfully, a foster had room so they didn't have to survive in an outside area at the shelter. They may not have known love before but they do now and they are adorable little baby stinkers. They are fostered with other dogs and do well with all dogs. They will make a great addition to any home ready for the puppy stage. They will be medium to large when they are grown. Delilah has a bubbly personality and is more people-oriented compared to her other siblings. She loves to play time but also loves to lay on her back and get belly rubs. She has a cute little hop when running and will "hop" right into your lap and your heart! If you are interested in adopting me or any of my Funny Farm friends please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works, read about all the vetting I will have before coming home, and you will also find the link to submit the adoption application. The adoption fee is $375 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. Story
Nova is approximately 1.5 years old. She is only 43lbs at 1.5year old! She was abandoned at a local rabies control as a puppy. We couldn’t stand for her to be in the shelter. She was scared and so little. Only about 4 weeks old at the time! She does not get along with our cats and has attacked some of our chickens. She does well with older children, but can be a handful with smaller kids. We have five young kids so it is challenging to give her the attention she deserves. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. She has been through multiple training classes and knows a variety of skills. She is very food motivated and will often counter surf so she has to be kept up at meals. This can be tricky with little ones. She also jumps over the fence which is a farm fence of 4ft. So, she would need a larger fence. She is very smart and learns very quickly. She wants to be with her people and with toddlers it is very difficult to give her the attention she needs.

Story
Meet Ranger! 🐾 🍂 Picked up in Fall 2022, Ranger has been our "stay in the background" guy at the shelter. He's a gentle soul who tries to avoid any conflict and prefers the quiet moments in life. Despite his shyness, Ranger is incredibly loving and has warmed up well with our staff. Cecilia even taught him how to sit, showcasing his willingness to learn and his eagerness to please. 🐾 🎂 We estimate Ranger to be around 2 to 3 years old, still in the prime of his life. A trip to the vet showed us his exceptional behavior - he rode like a champ and was on his best behavior, proving he's a well-mannered fellow. Ranger is also a leash pro, making walks a breeze, and he truly comes alive during one-on-one time. Away from the hustle and bustle, he blossoms and shows his true colors. 🌸 While he hasn't been neutered yet, Ranger's gentle and calm nature makes us believe he could be a great companion for families with both older and younger children. His meek disposition is a true gem! We can't vouch for his feline friends just yet, but Ranger doesn't display any strong prey instincts, so we have hope that he could coexist peacefully with cats. In biblical terms, we see Ranger as a meek spirit who's ready to find his forever home and possibly inherit a piece of the Earth with the right family. If you're seeking a loving, calm, and loyal companion, Ranger is the one for you! ❤️ Drop by the shelter to meet Ranger and experience his heartwarming presence. Let's help Ranger find the loving home he truly deserves!

Story
Meet Rosie, a bundle of energy and strength weighing in at 65lbs of pure muscle! 💪 With her love for people, Rosie is ready to find her forever home. While she hasn't been around smaller children yet, her high energy level and strength make her a great companion for older and larger kids & adults. She's shown to be more comfortable around male dogs than females, however she did successfully share a kennel space with Winnie, proving her ability to get along. We believe Rosie would thrive best as the only pet in the household or alongside a compatible male dog, following a successful meet and greet. 🐶 Rosie is no stranger to intelligence – she's learned to open doors that aren't securely latched and even uses her paw to keep her peanut butter-filled Tuffie toy steady while enjoying her treat. 🥜🧈 Her leash walking has improved significantly, showing her dedication to learning and adapting! If you're ready for a dynamic, clever, and affectionate companion, Rosie might be the perfect addition to your family! Don't miss the chance to meet this wonderful girl and give her the loving home she deserves. ❤️ Contact us to set up a meet and greet with Rosie today! 🏡

Story
Meet LUCY 💕 - the playful and affectionate pup in search of her forever home! ♾️ 🐶 Lucy is a 2-year-old, fully grown beauty, weighing 55lbs. She absolutely adores playing with the water hose - it's her favorite pastime! 💦🐾 She’s always excited to take a walk, and walks well on a leash. She a peanut butter loving pup, so you’ll need to stock up! She's recently vetted and spayed, and turns out to be a very healthy girl! Lucy and Ethel were found together on June 9th near Juanita Drive, near the Nursing Home. Their bond was so strong that we initially believed they had been together for a while. However, we later discovered they had only just became fast friends! They went on to share a kennel at the Shelter until Ethel found her loving forever family. 🐾 Our vet attests that Lucy is exceptional with other dogs and has shown no signs of aggression. She interacts with smaller and larger dogs as sweetly as she has with Ethel. However, when it comes to cats, her playful nature kicks in, and she sees them as an exciting chase. If you're looking for a loyal and fun-loving companion, Lucy might be the perfect addition to your family! Give her the loving home she deserves, and you'll be rewarded with endless joy and excitement. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to adopt Lucy!
