Asher is a 12-year-old mixed-breed dog who was adopted as a puppy in Corpus Christi, Texas. Asher is full of energy, even at an older age, and loves playing with any type of ball that he can chase down and play fetch with. Asher also loves playing tug-o-war with ropes and going for walks. Asher loves people, often going up to people rather than other dogs while at dog parks. He enjoys running out in the open and having freedom. Asher also loves a good nap and will knock out for hours when cuddled with. I want Asher to continue to enjoy these things with someone or a family that can give him the time he deserves. He truly is a loyal companion. I want him to be with a family that will allow him to live out the rest of his life to the fullest where he can run free and be loved like I have loved him for the past 12 years. Hopefully, somewhere I can visit him from time to time, as I would love to stay in his life.

I've never rehomed a dog, and would absolutely keep Lucy if I had any choice. Although not spayed, she's never been bred and was never intended to be. I'm open to discussing helping to pay for her to get spayed and update her rabies shot, just short on time to find a home.Lucy has lived with other dogs, a cat, ducks, and chickens. She will likely bark at new people or animals, but has never had aggression issues. I have her sit and then greet or let the person/animal walk by if she gets too excited. She has not been around kids, for transparency, but has always backed off if the smaller animals like the ducks nipped at her when she sniffed them. She is also trusted to be left uncrated when I'm at work. She's not destructive.Ultimately, Lucy just wants to do whatever her owner wants, because she's a great dog. She knows sit, lie down, stay, back up, and get up. She loves attention and durable toys like Kongs.I'm doing everything I can to place her, as this move was unexpected.
