Story
Meet Iris! She is estimated to be 3 years old. She is spayed and current on her vaccines and preventions. Iris is also leash trained, potty trained, and dog friendly with most dogs! Iris can come off a bit shy when she first meets someone, but warms up very quickly- and once she loves you, she LOVES YOU. She will demand lots of belly rubs and to give you all the kisses in return. Iris was a street rescue, dumped on the side of a busy road , skin and bones, and VERY pregnant. It took quite a bit of time to get her back to a healthy state, but she made it! She is a very resilient girl. And now, a very healthy one too! Iris is very family oriented. If you are looking for a loyal and kind dog, she is the one for you! Please reach out to learn more about Iris. Don't make her wait too long!

Story
Meet Chavi the tripod! Chavi is a year old border collie/lab mix. She was a street rescue that had a healed broken front leg, heart worms AND a litter of 8 newborn puppies. Chavi was very shy when she first arrived. It took weeks for her to trust anyone. During this time Chavi was never aggressive, just very scared. Though her background story is unknown, we believe that she had grown up on the streets. At some point she was hit by a car and broke one of her front legs. It healed improperly resulting in a removal for her own well being. After some testing we were unfortunately met with the news that Chavi was heart-worm positive. However, thanks to generous donations and team efforts, she has undergone heart worm treatment and is now HEART WORM NEGATIVE! Since being with us she has blossomed. Chavi is brave, friendly, and so kind. She is leash trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, and does great in any environment. Truthfully, she would thrive in a home with other dogs. Please reach out to chat more about Chavi or to schedule a meet and greet!

Meet the sweetest boy! Oliver is estimated to be about a year old. He is fully vaccinated, current on preventions, and neutered. Oliver was a street rescue, dumped by his previous owners as a puppy. Oliver jumped from house to house looking for food and water. Thankfully and good samaritan stepped in, and thats when we got the call! Oliver wants nothing more than to be best friends with anyone and anything he meets! He loves to give kisses and cuddles. He doesn't even require a treat in return! Oliver is potty trained and leash trained. We think he would thrive in any home environment! He also ADORES children! Please reach out to learn more or schedule a meet and greet!

Waylon is a 10 month old happy and healthy boy! This sweet boy was rescued from the streets of San Antonio. He was stranded off the side of the road, hidden in the brush with his sister. They were both covered in fleas and ticks and were skin and bones. Since getting acclimated to his new, safe and comfy life, he has blossomed into the biggest love bug. He loves to give kisses and get belly rubs in return. He loves to play with his other dog friends, but is perfectly happy playing with his chew toys on his own. He is leash trained and potty trained. Story
Tom’s life didn’t start out like a cartoon comedy — it started with uncertainty, survival, and learning how to trust. Despite everything he’s been through, Tom is a gentle, loving soul who just wants what every dog deserves: safety, comfort, and someone to call his own. Tom is the quieter half of the duo. He’s observant, thoughtful, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Once he trusts you, he leans in hard — for affection, reassurance, and love. He enjoys soft beds, calm environments, and knowing he’s finally safe. He does well with other dogs, especially his buddy Jerry(who’s already been adopted), but Tom would also thrive as a cherished solo pup soaking up one-on-one attention. He’s learning what it means to be a pet — not just a survivor — and he’s doing amazing. Tom isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for patience, kindness, and a family who understands that the best dogs are often the ones who’ve had to overcome the most. If you’re ready to give Tom the ending he’s always deserved, he’s ready to give you his whole heart.
