Story
Meet Chris! This sweet boy was found dumped on the side of the road in a rural area with momma and sister. He is estimated to be 13 weeks old, he is current on all of his booster vaccines and rabies. We think he may be some sort of catahoula, aussie mix based off of what momma looks like (Opal), however, we do believe he is going to be much bigger than her. His current weight is 25 pounds. As of now we are working on potty training and this smart boy has picked up so quickly! He is incredibly people friendly and dog friendly. Christopher believes everyone wants to be his friend. Story
Meet old lady Rhoda! Rhoda is estimated to be 9 years old. She was found on the side of a busy highway hopping around like she'd been wandering for quite awhile. She was filthy, covered in fleas and ticks. She happily let us bathe her and get her all settled into a safe space. Rhoda has been vetted, current on all of her vaccines. She is heartworm positive and is undergoing slow kill treatment for it because of her age. Rhoda is dog, cat, and people friendly of all ages! She is leash trained and potty trained. We think Rhoda would thrive in a calm home environment. She doesn't require much, just a comfy bed to sleep on and lots and lots of belly rubs. Reach out to ask more questions or schedule a meet and greet! Don't make miss Rhoda wait too long!

Meet Hondo! Hondo is 2 years old, neutered, and current on all vaccines. A very happy and healthy boy! Hondo loves to play fetch and run around outside. He is leash trained and potty trained. While Hondo thinks he is a lap dog even though he weighs upwards of 100 pounds, he is still a big playful boy and would do best in a home without younger children. Hondo is not reactive towards other dogs in public, but would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. he wants all of the attention to himself and deserves it! Story
Meet Anna. Anna is estimated to be 6 years old, she is spayed and current on all of her vaccines and preventions. Anna was found roaming the streets of a rural area. She was shoo'd off from so many houses, unsure of where to go. She was brought into a local clinic to check for a microchip. She was chipped, but unfortunately the microchip was not registered. That was it, the end of her rope. She was set up for euthanasia- that's when we got the call! Anna is as sweet as can be, a "gentle giant". She was wonderful for the vet and technicians. She does great on a leash and has shown us that she is very potty trained. Anna has not been dog tested yet, but is not reactive towards the other dogs here at the facility. We believe Miss Anna would do best in a calm home. She has a very low energy level. All she needs a human that loves to cuddle and a comfy place to sleep. Reach out to ask any additional questions or to schedule a meet and greet!

Chavi

Labrador Retriever Border Collie

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet Chavi the tripod! Chavi is a year old border collie/lab mix. She was a street rescue that had a healed broken front leg, heart worms AND a litter of 8 newborn puppies. Chavi was very shy when she first arrived. It took weeks for her to trust anyone. During this time Chavi was never aggressive, just very scared. Though her background story is unknown, we believe that she had grown up on the streets. At some point she was hit by a car and broke one of her front legs. It healed improperly resulting in a removal for her own well being. After some testing we were unfortunately met with the news that Chavi was heart-worm positive. However, thanks to generous donations and team efforts, she has undergone heart worm treatment and is now HEART WORM NEGATIVE! Since being with us she has blossomed. Chavi is brave, friendly, and so kind. She is leash trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, and does great in any environment. Truthfully, she would thrive in a home with other dogs. Please reach out to chat more about Chavi or to schedule a meet and greet!
