Story
We rescued Chico as a puppy from the Humane Society. We are looking for a home for him that can truly integrate him as part of the family. He would make a great indoor pet or outdoors with another pet Reason My husband's medical conditions have not allowed us to have Chico in/out of the home so he has become a primarily outdoor dog without him having a companion or a family that spends more time outdoors. Adjectives that describe your pet: Chico is a handsome sweet boy that has a lot of energy and is extremely playful. Best Qualities He loves to lay on his back and get his belly rubbed and LOVES to eat but understands commands such as sit, wait, and go. He does not bark often which has been a plus since we have had him outside. Commands or Tricks Sit and paw Cute/funny quirks When he meets people he gets on his back to have his belly rubbed. Special toys or treats that they love Anything edible!

Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. Story
Meet Barbie, the charming almost 2-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix with a quirky personality and a heart full of love. She was rescued from a local shelter where it's apparent she had a rough start to life where a human was not nice to her as she sometimes gets startled by quick movements. Barbie's spirit shines brightly as she embraces each day with enthusiasm and resilience. Weighing in at 20lbs, Barbie adores playtime and craves attention. Beware though, if you're not giving her the attention she deserves, Barbie isn't shy about reminding you with a playful nip on the butt! We are working on that and she is doing better as long as she has toys to distract her! She's looking for a patient and understanding family who can provide her with the love and security she deserves, promising endless laughs and unconditional love in return. She does great with dogs of all sizes. Barbie's adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state and includes current shots, microchip, spay, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. An adoption application and contract are required. If you have any questions, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. Story
Hi I'm Cheerio! I have been in rescue for a long time and I don't understand why. I'm the happiest and sweetest girl just looking for an active forever home. I love going for walks and hikes! I am a MAJOR water dog and love to lounge in the kiddie pool! I'm potty trained and crate trained and my foster mom says I'm super smart and food motivated so I would do well learning new commands and even tricks! I get along with other dogs of all sizes and love to play chase. I even get along with humans of all sizes but I might get a little too excited for the extra small ones. I'm working on learning not to jump but sometimes I can't help myself because I'm so happy! I just need regular exercise and mental stimulation to get my energy out and then I can settle down inside. Cheerio is a 3 year old Lab/Pit mix and weighs about 50lbs. She is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195.00 local or $395.00 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.
