Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Natalie is a beautiful, friendly and cuddly girl who is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention. She loves snuggly blankets, sunbathing and keeping her people company. She's a whiz with a laser pointer, too. Natalie does NOT want to share her space with another cat or dog, so a 1 pet at a time family is the purrfect match. The adoption fee for a cat is $150, which helps with the costs of routine medical care. If your kitten is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, you will be required to sign a contract obligating you to ensure this procedure is performed. PetConnect also collects a $100 spay/neuter deposit which will be refunded after the procedure is completed. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). **If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Izzy is a beautiful, super soft longhaired female who we estimate to be about 3.5 years old. She was surrendered to PetConnect because she did not do well with the toddler in her home. For this reason Izzy needs a home without young children. Izzy was shy in her foster home at first and took some time to settle in so we expect that she will need the same patience in her adoptive home. Now she loves to play with her foster mom and even takes cat naps on her foster mom's lap. Izzy takes an over-the-counter anxiety medication called Zylkene which really helped her settle in and we would recommend she remain on this through the next transition to her forever home. The medication is just crushed up into her food (no need to administer a pill or anything!). In Izzy's previous home she was described as an active and social girl who loves to play and explore. We are starting to see some of this outgoing personality come back in Izzy. A cat-savvy adopter who can spend time with her and give her an interactive environment would be ideal. In return Izzy will give her forever family lots of love and affection.

If given the chance, she will snuggle with you on the couch all day. She will sit at the bathroom door and protect you while taking a shower-- what a funny girl! She is truly a 1-2 year old in an 11 year old's body. She loves to play but can chill as well-- an all around amazing girl! (2/19/24) Pattycakes is doing amazing-- she adjusted really quickly and has taken over the space for herself! She is very affectionate and loves the pets and cuddles. You would never know she is 11 by how she acts- I swear she has the energy and curiosity of a 1 or 2 year old! She's settled in like she has been here forever. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
