Misty is gorgeous and oh so sweet. This friendly beauty had a rough start and is looking for a loving, safe home where she will be pampered. She was severly matted and had to be partially shaved. Now, she loves to be brushed and cared for. She was in a home where food was not plentiful and was allowed to two litters of kittens that we are aware of. She was fiercely protective but the environment wasn't safe for them. As a result, she is not fond of other kitties and likely will not do well with dogs. She will likely do best as an only pet in the household. Female, DLH, approx 1 years old Stormy has put in her time as a mom to five, and now that they're ready to leave the nest, she is ready for a home alllllll her own. She's an adults-only/older kids household kind of cat, but that doesn't mean she's mean or anything, she just likes the quiet life. Stormy has somewhat limited eyesight, which makes her tend toward the uncomfortable side when she's in a new space, and she might even growl a little bit at imaginary monsters that live out past where she can see clearly. During this new environment time, Stormy finds it super helpful if you chat with her and let her know what's going on. Once she has had a couple days to settle in and figure out that the coast is clear (no monsters in the shadows), she gets super comfortable with her human. It sets me apawt. I'm an outgoing lady that's pretty sweet and I even tolerate the doggo in my sitter's home. I like to sit beside my human on the couch. It's pretty comfy and I can do a big stretch there, too. I can equally live and be happy in small spaces, which is a plus. I'm not a complete diva! I will especially love you if you have those really cool feather wands and a KONG Kickeroo. Once I finish playing, I like to do a scratch on the post my foster mom has for me.
