Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Poolesville, Maryland

Scarlet is a very sweet little long haired brown tabby. She loves to be held or sit on your lap and get pets. She gets along with kids but does not like other cats. She would be best as the only pet in the home. She was born in January 2025. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in TN but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Precious is a sweet little girl. She loves to be held and loves to play. She gets along with other cats, small dogs and children. Momo is a delightful, adult male kitty who is gentle and sweet. His magnificent fluffy tail adds a regalness to this calm, sweet boy but he really just wants affection and a loving forever home. He was brought to the Fancy Cats and Dogs Rescue by a good Samaritan who discovered that when his owner moved away they had left Momo behind and outside. Momo has adapted well to his foster home but is timid at first. However, he does blossom when he becomes accustomed to his new surroundings. Momo is a treasure who would make a wonderful companion. Please consider opening your home and heart to this special boy. Meet Bailey  Bailey is a beautiful 8-year-old declawed long-haired sweetheart whose life was turned upside down when she was surrendered to a shelter. Because of her age, her future was sadly very uncertain. Thankfully, the shelter recognized what a special girl she is and reached out to Fancy Cats Rescue Team, giving Bailey the second chance she so deserves.  This gentle girl has clearly been through a great deal. Her beautiful long coat wasn't cared for the way it should have been, so she's looking forward to a little extra TLC, some grooming, and a trim to help her feel comfortable and beautiful again. With a little pampering and lots of love, Bailey is sure to shine just as brightly on the outside as she already does on the inside.  Bailey is declawed, and thanks to her rescue with Fancy Cats Rescue Team, she'll be in a forever home where she'll remain a cherished indoor-only companion, always safe, protected, and surrounded by the love she deserves.  Like many senior cats who may not have received the care they needed, Bailey also appears to have some dental issues that will be evaluated further. You may notice that her adorable little tongue sometimes peeks out of her mouth, likely because of her dental condition, which only makes her even more endearing. She may require additional dental care as part of her journey back to full health, and Fancy Cats is committed to ensuring she receives the care she needs.  While Bailey can be a little shy when first meeting new people, her gentle personality quickly begins to blossom once she realizes she's safe. As her confidence grows, so does her affectionate side. She happily soaks up gentle pets, enjoys quiet cuddle sessions, and leans into every bit of kindness she's shown. Hi, I'm Meryl, and yes...my tail really is this fluffy. I'm a gorgeous calico girl with the softest fur, bright green eyes, and a big, feathery tail that has a personality all its own. I'm about 2 years old, and like many calicos, I have a little sparkle to my personality. I'm sweet, affectionate, and just the right amount of sassy—I know what I like, and I'm not shy about sharing my opinions. In fact, I have different meows to tell you exactly what's on my mind, whether I'm asking for pets, saying hello, or reminding you it's time to pay attention to me. Once I know I'm safe, I'm an incredibly loving girl. I enjoy spending time with my people, accepting pets, and simply being close to the ones I trust. All I'm looking for is a family who will give me a little time to settle in so I can show you just how affectionate I can be. My perfect home would be a peaceful one without dogs. I can happily live with one or two respectful cats, but I wouldn't enjoy a busy house with lots of feline roommates. Meet Edward & Eleanor: Your New Favorite Duo!    If you’re looking for bonded, sweet, affectionate, beautiful cats who will keep you company and make themselves right at home, look no further! Edward and Eleanor are a bonded pair who love being near their people—and they’re ready to find a family who will love them both forever.    Edward: The Social Director Edward is the kind of cat who believes that if something interesting is happening, he should absolutely be involved.    Cooking dinner? Edward may be supervising from the counter. Watching TV? He will be in your lap. Getting into bed? Edward enjoys sleeping calmly above your head for the night!   This sweet boy is friendly, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. He especially enjoys lap time, playing with fishing-rod toys, and keeping tabs on everything happening around the house. And those huge, adorable green eyes make it nearly impossible to resist him!   Edward isn’t a fan of dogs, so he would do best in a dog-free home. A calm, cat-friendly dog might possibly work with a very slow and careful introduction, but Edward would definitely prefer his forever home to be canine free.   Eleanor: The Fluffy Sweetheart Eleanor is a beautiful, long-haired girl with a soft, fluffy coat and an equally sweet personality.    She loves sitting in laps and being near her people. At bedtime, she likes to settle down near the bottom of the bed, where she can be close to her humans while Edward takes his usual spot up top.   Eleanor is a bit more cautious than her brother. She often watches Edward to see what he’s up to before deciding, “Well, that looks fun—I’m in!”. She isn’t afraid of dogs and takes their presence in stride.     One of the sweetest things about Edward and Eleanor is how much they care for each other. They groom each other several times a day and check in with each other.    And when it comes to the practical stuff? These two are pros! Both use their litter box perfectly with zero issues.   Both are working hard at learning to scratch scratching posts and boards only. Their current foster says they have made a lot of progress and will likely continue to thrive with consistency.
