Story
Sweet and soft spoken, Lenny and Benny are two shy brothers who are very pretty boys. Once you look into their big eyes, you'll catch all their beautiful long haired beauty. Benny is a big and friendly boy that loves to get scratches and treats. Lenny is a bit more shy but will warm up once he sees his brother enjoying all the attention. Both love treats, they can be bribed with treats. Both Benny and Lenny are big boys and will need an owner that can keep an eye on their weight. They are also very much long haired cats and need a decent amount of grooming from their owner. Don't worry though, they love getting brushed. Benny and Lenny are neutered, negative for FelV/FIV, up to date on vaccinations and ready to be adopted today. This cat's adoption fee is $150 ($275/pair). ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly injured leg and Critter Cavalry Rescue fixed him up and boy was he worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has healed so nicely and a dreamy, friendly,  snuggly boy ever since we picked him up from the vet’s office. He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please! What a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt one, nor has he even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such a gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 25, 2024, 5:58 pm

Story
Meet Mr. Oreo.  This very handsome man is 3 years old and a medium size cat.  He is good with other cats and likes people.  He is just a bit shy of new people when he first meets them.  He will let you pet him but not always.  He needs a patient mom and/or dad to help him over come this.  He was found as a stray dumped in the country in middle Tennessee.  He still needs to learn that he can trust humans again.  Miss Judith came to his rescue and Critter Cavalry stepped in to get him all the vet care he needed and to find him the purrfect forever home.  Will that be with you?  To help Oreo please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.May 25, 2024, 5:58 pm

Hi I am Matty, and I am told that I am quite a handsome boy.  People really like my luxurious long coat of white fur that has impressive black accents in all the right places.  I am just under a year old at 11 months and I'm what you call a 'lover boy'.  My foster mom says this to me all the time. Story
Rock Creek Cats, a nonprofit in the DC area, seeks barn homes for feral cats rescued from dangerous situations. These cats are not tame and need a home at a farm, horse stable, or other suitable outdoor environment with shelter. All the cats have been sterilized and vaccinated against rabies, and now need an outdoor home where they can live out their lives. Be prepared for a brief period of adjustment. Moving to a new home is stressful for anyone, cats included! After a short stay in secure confinement, the cats will accept their new home and be chasing mice out of your barn with enthusiasm. The cats will be delivered to their new homes. Guidance and supplies will be provided during the relocation process.

Story
Mia just turned 5 years old this month and has been with me since 8 weeks old. She was given to me by a friend who’s cat had kittens. She is very independent, but also loves to cuddle and get pets on her time. Mia is such a curious girl and loves to go outside to take walks in her stroller. She absolutely loves looking out the window and sunbathing during her naps in the daytime. She is such a loyal cat when she gets to know you and enjoys just being near you. I am looking for someone who loves cats and will give Mia the very best treatment. Mia has lived with one other cat and did well with him after about a week of transition time. Mia would do best with someone who does not have small children.
