Meet Ziggy! She is a fluffy, soft, and sweet cat who will turn 2 on November 12 2026. Ziggy started life under tough circumstances. She was found alone in the Detroit area and has been loved and cared for by our family ever since. Lately, we are struggling as a family to provide Ziggy with the care and love that she deserves as our family pet.We are gone from the home 12-15 hours a day, most days of the week. Ziggy is left alone all of that time.We return home to homework, practice, playtime, daily chores and often over look her.I have a toddler that is a bit rough with her, often trapping her or kicking at her.I am in the process of buying a new home so my financial situation is changing and I will not be able to financially care for her.Ziggy is:• Curious and calm, though she can be timid at times• Great with kids• Used to living in a smoke-free home with no other petsWe are looking for a home that will care for Ziggy and love her as much as we have.

Our precious Lucy needs a loving home. She was born with an amazing personality that is naturally trusting and friendly. As a baby kitten, she would walk with confidence straight toward any voice in the the room. She was just a tiny fluff ball back then, who loved everyone and she was easily adopted at a young age. Over time, changes in the household led to a separation of her owner and partner. Lucy went to live with the partner who eventually lost touch with the owner. Fast forward a few years later, Lucy was recently found in a stranger's yard, begging to come in their house. The kind samaritan took her to Animal Control who contacted us via her microchip. We contacted her owner who explained that Lucy had not lived with her for some time and had no way of reaching the ex from where Lucy went missing. The rightful owner then without hesitation went and saved Lucy from the pound, but is not in a position to keep her and has asked us for help with rehoming. Lucy is still the same tiny sweetheart that she always was. She still loves and trusts, despite whatever she went through to find herself homeless. We will likely never know what happened in that time, but we are still here for her and committed to making it right. All thanks to her microchip. She was examined at the shelter and determined to be in great condition, so we think she was not lost much longer than the 2 weeks we know of (per the good samaritan). She is happy to be safe and ready for the next chapter of her life. Lucy has a wonderful personality. She is gentle, affectionate, and loving. She is now 10 years old, and full of life as ever. The shelter vet thought she was much younger, as she is still petite and very healthy. She is good with kids and dogs, and knows how to fit herself in easily as she has maintained her natural confidence. If you are a sucker for a beautiful, black, long hair with gorgeous green eyes that look up at you adoringly, then please don't hesitate to inquire about this special little girl. She will be a loyal and loving companion who appreciates and deserves a good home.

We got Fish in august of 2021 when he was about 8 weeks old, named him Fish because i wanted to say i had a cat-fish haha… since getting fish my husband and i have had 4 unplanned pregnancies back to back and fish is just not getting the attention he’s used to and started with. i am so heartbroken to even be posting my cats but i cannot keep up with soon to be 4 kids and the cats…. Him is such a sweetie boy, him loves to snuggle (he is a big lover boy), loves anything small enough to play pinball with. he is skiddish around my kids i think because they’re loud and love loud and he likes slower usually. we have a pitbull too, fish is usually pretty good at staying away from the dog. he is fixed, we went to all about animals in warren for him.
