ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13598Hi! My name is Vanna and I’m guessed to be a 1.5-year-old Feist mixed breed dog. I had a litter of 5 healthy pups and am a very diligent, attentive mama. I like being with the other dogs in my foster home and love my foster human. I also enjoy the company of my human’s toddler grandchild. I am potty trained and always do my business outside. I love to cuddle and also like to be silly and play with toys. My foster family says I am sweet and a great little dog. Inside, I have good house manners, I’m pretty chill and I don’t guard my resources. I will make a great addition to the right family. I tend to be shy when guests come over and I might take a while to warm up to new people so my perfect family will be patient as I learn to trust humans a little more

Story
Sarah is a high energy girl and at 8 months old her current situation is not working. She gets no exercise and we really need your help Could you foster ??? Yes we desperately need a person who could work with her and really get her out to exercise. She is very friendly and happy and likes everyone she sees. She is around 30 pounds and a big yard to run in is much needed. She knows how to sit for treats but she would love to get out and hike and run and be your loyal companion. She is up for adoption too. Please reach out if you are ready for a pretty strong sweet girl. She does love other dogs (All dogs) but she needs to learn how to play too. Never has had a chance to have fun. Teresa 2767910475. For Pete's Sake Animal Rescue

Female, 2 years old, 30 lbs Lanie is new to the rescue. We will add more information as we get to know her better. If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a DOG: http://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-dogs.html Interested in saving more lives? Foster a dog today! Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

This sweet, friendly, and curious dog is looking for a calm forever family with lots of time, patience, and cuddles to offer. Maggie Mae's is one of the most outgoing, kind dogs around. She loves making new friends, human and canine alike. One of her favorite activities is exploring the outdoors. She especially enjoys going outside on walks, which provides her with ample opportunities to socialize. She loves meeting and playing with new dogs and sees any new face as a potential playmate! Maggie Mae is easy to walk and control and would likely do well in a home with other dogs. Other than spending time outside, Maggie Mae is curious and enjoys investigating everything around her. She is very aware of her surroundings at all times. While things like strange noises and stairs can spook her, she will surely adjust with time and patience. If you're searching for a curious, social, and adventurous new best friend, look no further! Maggie Mae is an adorable, cheerful pup and would be the perfect addition to any loving family.

Meet Maisie - an adorable young small (30lbs) female dog with a heartwarming personality. Maisie is an intelligent, friendly, affectionate, and loyal dog who loves to play, but is also a couch potato and loves her cuddles and kisses. She is athletic and enjoys long walks and adventures, and she's always up for trying new things. Maisie gets along very good with other dogs and loves to play with them. A fenced yard is important. She is young, so will require a patient and understanding owner who is willing to train her and give her the time and attention that she needs. She knows sit, is house trained and crate trained. She has a recessed vulva that has been operated on and will require medication which she is doing very well with (it is to keep her from incontinence). When she gets older she may need a diaper if the meds no longer assist her. Not a big deal, the diapers are adorable and are like an outfit If you're looking for a brave and loving companion, Maisie is the one for you! Apply at petpath.org
