Grace is truly a special dog. She’s a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix and the kind of dog that’s hard not to fall in love with. She is incredibly intelligent and has a great balance of energy and calm. Grace loves her walks and getting out to explore, and she also settles great at home. She’s affectionate without being needy, engaged without being overwhelming, and has an incredibly gentle presence. She’s friendly with other dogs and cats, easy to live with, and very tuned in to the people around her. Grace fits naturally into a home. She rests quietly nearby and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. Grace would be perfect for someone looking for a dog that’s truly a companion. She’s loyal, loving, intelligent, and has that rare, special quality that’s hard to describe but obvious the moment you meet her.

Story
Meet Baz, our 91 lb 3 y/o German Shepherd mix. Baz is an amazing dog. He is affectionate and intelligent. He likes to train but doesn’t need a ton to tire him out. He’s a sensitive dog who responds well to structure, clear boundaries and praise. He does have some behavioral struggles. We spent thousands of dollars on a 2 month board and train last year, and have continued with private sessions with a new trainer in the last few months. His dog reactivity and overall obedience has improved drastically. But he did attack our other dog recently and has started growling at my wife, who is pregnant. For everyone’s safety and well being, we have to rehome Baz before the baby comes. It is not a good situation for us, or for him. We’ve spent a year investing time and resources into his training, hoping it would be enough, but he needs more. Baz is in tact and up to date on all vaccinations. He is fully e-collar and crate trained. He loves to play tug and knows a bunch of command

Story
Say hello to this handsome fellow Scoob! This guy just can't catch a break! He's been waiting for a couple years now to find his own family. Scoob came from the streets, so we don't have much info on his background. He's a big boy and being black he gets overlooked. Scoob has really worked hard at being the best boy and facing his fears in public. He used to be extremely vocal around vehicles, motorcycles, bikes & skateboarders but he has learned there's nothing to get worked up about! He enjoys going out & meeting people. He is social with other dogs after he has had a chance to relax a bit. Scoob really wants to bond with someone. He is eager to learn but still hesitant to push his limits until he is comfortable with you. Scoob is looking for a family that likes adventures & hikes. Because he is so big & still learning things, we do not suggest small children or cats. He just needs to bond so he can be the dog we know he wants to be! He just needs someone to give him a chance. He wants his own person. Scoob is about 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Scoob, please visit our website www.lolr.org and fill out an adoption application. He's been patiently waiting for his forever family.   ##1453083##

She’s also comfortable around small children, making her a great addition to a family home. This smart girl is almost completely potty trained and already knows how to sit politely for a treat. Story
PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION: Meet Moxie! Moxie is a 3-year-old, 85 lb German Shepherd/Neapolitan Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her beautiful brindle body. She came into the shelter unexpectedly pregnant and surprised everyone by giving birth to a single puppy during her stay. She needed immediate rescue, and thanks to a wonderful foster, both Mama and baby were able to get the care they needed. Now that Moxie has finished her mama duties, she’s ready to find a loving home of her own. Moxie is an affectionate, people-loving girl who happily offers her paw for pets and gives plenty of kisses in return. She’s a total showstopper with her striking coat and warm, soulful eyes—paired with a personality just as stunning. In the home, she’s well-mannered and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’d also do well with a family that’s home a bit more often, as she thrives on companionship. This gorgeous girl loves going on walks and would make a great adventure partner. She is friendly with other dogs her size, though she can get a little excited on leash when passing smaller pups. Because of her size and strength, Moxie would benefit from an adopter with large-breed experience who can continue helping her with basic training. Moxie is truly something special, and we know she’s going to make an incredible addition to a brindle-loving, big-dog-loving family. Could your home be the one she’s been waiting for? Story
🐾 Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd Mix – 1 Year & 4 Months Old 🐾 We are looking for a responsible and loving home for our sweet boy. He is approximately 1 year and 4 months old, very athletic, intelligent, and full of energy. He would thrive in an active home that can give him the time, structure, and space he needs. He absolutely loves playing with plush toys and balls, and he enjoys cuddles and kisses once he feels comfortable. He even likes wearing sweaters 🐶💛 He is extremely hyper and curious, so he needs someone experienced and committed to continuing his training. He does well with a harness but still needs leash training. Because of his energy level and temperament, he is not good with children and can be unpredictable with other animals. He would do best in an adult-only home where he is the only pet. He is a very good boy with a big personality who needs the right environment to truly thrive. Serious inquiries only.
