So after going to several no kill rescues and LA County shelters, we decided to adopt an 11 month old German Shepherd, Anatolian. I have had him now for three weeks. We took him for a veterinary check. He’s all up on his vaccines. I put them on the best flea and tick treatment. I have a six-year-old Jack Russell female both dogs are spayed and neutered. I’ve done everything in my power to try to get them to both get along with each other and it hasn’t worked. He loves to be cuddled. We allow him to come in and sleep in our living room. He’s out in the daytime. He has a great appetite. He was on the kill list that Friday so we chose him if anyone has ideas for other rescues please let me know. We are having to divide the dogs throughout the house and yard.

Mila is a 4-year-old dog who is very friendly, energetic, and loves being around people. She does great with kids and enjoys attention, playtime, and being part of the family. She has a fun, happy personality and brings a lot of energy into the home. She hasn’t had a lot of experience with other dogs, but she seems friendly and curious toward them so far. With proper introductions, she would likely do well. We’re rehoming Mila because we recently had a baby and aren’t able to give her the time and attention she deserves. This wasn’t an easy decision, but we want to find her a home where she can get plenty of love, activity, and engagement. Mila would be a great fit for an active person or family looking for a loyal, affectionate companion.

Wendy is a friendly, calm dog that would easily adopt to a new family, preferably as the only dog of the family. She is great with kids, as has been around my nephews. She is trained to sit, especially when knows she is getting a treat. Smart animal, great appetite, loving and so easy going that would make a great companion. She goes for walks with a harness and a leash with no issues. Approachable, and a great communicator of her needs. Wendy belonged to my Dad who recently passed away. As a kid he loved dogs, and that carried into his adult years. The dog is an outside dog and since the house will need to be remodeled, then need to rehome Wendy. Would like to rehome to avoid placement in a shelter that would limit independence to roam in the backyard, treats, getting food scraps to eat and/or Euthanasia. Dad had two dogs, and if adopted together would be great! With adoption, I can provide bag of dog food and snacks/treats.

Rocky is friendly dog, a bit shy, but warms up to you. He would make a good guard dog. Strong, and athletic. Smart animal, good appetite, would make a great running companion as has endurance and energy. Would need a dog owner that is experienced to assess dog's behavior, willing and able to train a dog that needs a loving home where he is the only dog preferably. Rocky belonged to my Dad who recently passed away. As a kid he loved dogs, and that carried into his adult years. Story

Darcy was given to us by a family friend known for breeding. We’ve had her since she was a puppy and is now almost 4 years young! Shes a very spirited and outgoing dog who loves being outdoors so she would highly benefit from a new family who has a yard. We would love to keep her in our family however our hosing situation abruptly changed. In the process of moving from an apartment to a bigger home my husband unfortunately lost his job and we were no longer able to afford our move. We currently live in a small apartment with a very small patio which is not ideal for a larger dog like her. It breaks our hearts that we need to part with her but it hurts us more having her confined to such a small area when she loves being outdoors. Our renting manager has also stated that we are no longer allowed to have pets in our apartment so we have no other choice but to rehome her. Darcy is very friendly and has never had any violent episodes with people, she also loves babies!
