Story
Kash is a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd who’s equal parts security guard and snuggle buddy. He loves sitting by the window watching the world, laying in the grass outside, and being near his people. When he’s relaxed, he’s all goofy smiles, tongue out, and floppy ears. He’s smart and alert, like most Shepherds, and he does best when he has some structure, attention, and things to do. He’ll happily chill with you, but he also takes his “I’m guarding the house” role very seriously. Personality & Home Life Cuddly and affectionate with his family, Naturally protective and likes to “patrol” the home, Curious & playful (he will explore the trash or snacks if bored 😅) • Loves looking out the window and being outside in the yard. • Good with kids “Has lived with kids ages 2-16 and done well.” • House-trained and Crate-trained Ideal Home Kash would do best with a family who: Has time for daily walks and play, give him attention and basic structure/trainingUnderstands big, smart breeds

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We are thrilled to share that Echo is in Permanent Foster Status! What does this mean? Echo will live with her foster as long as she lives, and ASR will continue to pay for all veterinary expenses and any other needs. Dogs normally adapt well to new situations - and that is what makes them so special :-) but not having to move a senior dog (after all, Echo is almost 12 years of age) is really nice.   Her foster had recently lost her own dog, whom she really grieves, so caring for Echo helps fill the void from her recent loss. Big THANK YOU to Tony C. for sponsoring Jocie nka ECHO !  Update 3/11/2025 : We are saddened to share that Echo's adopter passed away. After many years of love and loyalty Echo was alone - but ASR makes a lifetime commitment to our dogs. At 11-12 years of age, finding a place for a senior dog is not easy, but luckily an amazing foster opened her home to Echo to help her through the loss of her devoted adopter. At Echo's age, it would be so hard on her to have her begin to relax in her foster home only to be uprooted again when we find an adopter, and in the most amazing stroke of fortune, Echo's foster volunteered to take care of her, with ASR's assistance, as long as she lives :-) We call these situations "Fospice", or Permanent Foster, and while Echo currently has no issues but age related arthritis ( although that doesn't stop her from chasing the squirrels and rabbits that wander in her yard!), we know that special care is needed for dogs as they age, so ASR will continue to be responsible for her vetting for the rest of her life, while she enjoys the best possible life with her loving foster. From her earlier adoption: Say Hi to Jocie! Jocie and her sister, Jade and their Mom found themselves in a scary shelter.  They are now safely in a foster home, eating well, playing with each other, and working on finding that "just perfect" forever home. :) Jocie is a pretty little baby!  A typical cute, chubby, curious and active little girl. She is the more curious of the two pups; and will approach you with a happy wag of her tail ready to play.   Please do your research when considering adopting a puppy. Successfully raising a puppy is not for the faint of heart - it is a considerable amount of work that requires lots of love and more patience than you ever thought you would ever need, and it takes time! Puppies are cute, have razor sharp teeth and chew on everything; and just like a human baby, they require a commitment that must last a lifetime! When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please also remember this:  Up to the age of 8 months puppies cannot be left alone for a standard work day.   Arrangements will have to be in place for 4-5 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4-5 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housetraining process. Please contact us for more information. If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our  online application  at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Maxx’s owner has sadly passed away and now he is looking for a new forever family. He is a true family dog, who has always been surrounded by teenage grandchildren but not other dogs, so he needs to be your one-and-only. Also, he can be reactive to other dogs. Maxx knows some basic commands as SIT, SHAKE, and DOWN. He loves to play fetch with the tennis ball. He has some hip and nerve issues that are treated successfully with gabapentin. Maxx is incredibly sweet with people and loves kids. Maxx will thrive in a home with a large yard where there is room to run or a rural area; he loves to be active. He can be left at home for periods of time without any problem. But who would want to do that when he can be by your side enjoying life’s joys and adventures.   The person or family who open their hearts to Maxx will be rewarded with an adoring and loyal lifetime companion. Max has so much more love to give to his next forever family.     PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Reveille is a loyal, sweet, 4 year old family dog who unfortunately needs a new forever home.    Her family loves her but recognize that she is a young, energetic and playful shepherd who would thrive with a family or person who has more time to spend with her exercising, playing and training.    In her current situation, there is another dog, and she’s great with him.  Although she can be protective of the property with unknown dogs around. Reveille lives with multiple cats that she plays with and 6 children.    She is great with kids, the 6 children that she is living with are ages 1-15. She knows basic commands SIT, STAY, COME and she is very obedient to human verbal commands.  She enjoys playing with her toys especially ropes and balls.   She loves walks in the woods, has good recall, walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides.  She is crate trained but in her current home, is not in the crate that often. Reveille’s family want her to live her best life and know that she  will thrive in an active and loving home where she gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship.   She is a sweetheart and a devoted dog who wants to share the love, adventures and joys of life with her next lucky family or person.  Could that be you?   PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rainey! Rainey is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic German Shepherd who recently returned to All Shepherd Rescue through no fault of her own.   Sometimes even the best dogs don’t find the perfect fit on the first try—Rainey struggled with jealousy toward a senior dog in the home and is now looking for a fresh start as the only dog or with the right canine companion. This beautiful girl is full of love and playful spirit. She bonds closely with her people, enjoys attention, and thrives with structure and activity. Rainey would be a wonderful match for an active adopter who can give her the affection and leadership she craves. She’s ready to shine in a home where she can be your loyal companion and maybe even your one and only. Could that be with you? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. King Henri is an irresistible and exceptionally handsome, smart and loving 4 year old german shepherd who unfortunately needs a new family.  He was adopted by an older couple from a shelter but has turned out to be much stronger than they expected.  Younger neighbors with dogs who walk him are able to handle him. People stop in their tracks on the street when they see him walking.  He enjoys people petting him and kissing him on his head. He is curious to meet people and children; he is not shy, skittish or reticent. He is very healthy. When he sees kids of any age - babies to teens - on his walks he goes up to them gently, wants to be pet, hugged, kissed, and is very happy to be with them. He is well trained but needs someone young and strong to help him with leash reactivity training when on a walk and sees other dogs. He can be distracted from other dogs with treats.  He knows STAY, COME, SIT, DOWN, HEEL, WAIT, COME CLOSE, GET IT (a toy), FIND IT (with both hand motions and voice). He responds to his name and with a trainer he learned commands in German. He loves the Kong and the rope doll. He loves to catch the Kong and run after it and find it when it is hidden.  And he loves to pull hard on the rope doll when it is held. King Henri will thrive in an active and loving home where he gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, training, and companionship.  He is a devoted family dog and a sweetheart who wants to share the love, adventures and joys of life with his next lucky family or person. A home with a yard where he can run around and play would be ideal.   PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG.
