Hello! I rescued Mai Tai 2 years ago. She is approx 3 yrs old. She is very smart and knows basic commands and some bonus tricks. She is crate trained, knows how to place in her bed and heel on command. Def needs help on her recall as she loves to chase critters and wants to say hi to other dogs so needs to be on a leash at this point. She is super playful, but also very sweet, funny and affectionate. She loves playing with toys, snuggling in bed and going for car rides. My job role has changed in the last year so I have been traveling almost weekly and work long hours. I also need to be in AZ for extended amounts of time now to help my elderly father. I really just don’t have the time she deserves and having to board her all the time is just unfair. Would really love to see her go to a home with a yard to run around in and maybe another dog to play with. Not recommending cats as she chases them.

Hello, Hydra was adopted by me going over three years ago when he was around 6 months old. I had another GSD that was older than him, however the other died in an accident about two years ago. Hydra was fine with him and can be okay with other dogs, however he can be aggressive with other dogs as well. I have had no issues with Hydra around children, however he does like to jump on people. He is a sweet dog, but I do not have the time to give him the proper attention and training, and my wife is not a fan of him after having a baby. Hydra would be better off in a home where he can be trained properly and given a lot of attention. He is a very intelligent dog and learns things quickly. Hydra hates getting his nails trimmed, and despite many days trying to train him to be okay with it i have been unsuccessful. Hydra can be around other dogs but if you have a dog I would suggest familiarize them with each other before making a move.

Carrots is an owner give up to our rescue. Below is the information her owner gave us initially. I have had Carrots for almost two years now. She has been the most amazing friend I could have asked for. She rarely barks and only lets out an occasional whine if she needs to go out or is wanting some attention. She’s a well behaved for a dog that lives her life with me in a small dorm and can only go out to play fetch or go for a walk when I’m not at class or work. She needs better. In general, she has been amazing for the hand she’s been dealt. I actually couldn’t be more grateful for how well she’s treated me as she’s grown to be near a full two years old!! I am having to part with her because she is still a puppy, and I’m a Junior in college struggling to work and commute on weekends when I have to, and give her the attention she deserves. She’s trained well. She sits on command, she can stay if you ask, she’s house trained, and she’s comfortable with her kennel if needed. She uses a harness for walks and does great. She was trained to walk on the left of you and she’s usually pretty good about staying focused. She has started the process of being an ESA certified dog but has not rec'd her second certification. Her previous owner said that she was around a child once and growled so we do not recommend her with small children. She has never been around cats so we cannot say whether she will or will not be okay arounds feline friends. She would make a great family member for an active family. He's a goofy boy. He knows tricks like sit, lay down, touch, paw and other paw, and kiss. He likes to lay in weird positions and loves some squeaky toys. He has pretty bad allergies but over the counter allergy medicine and supplements seem to work for him. He's prone to ear infections. He is 3 years old and not neutered. He's a good boy but like any dog he has his moments. He is crate trained. He's pretty skinny now and also has some problems with his paws but the vet said that was due to allergies. Again, he's a good boy and I can't take care of him anymore so I'm hoping else can give him the life he deserves.

Kairos is an almost 5-year-old, sensitive and highly intelligent working-line German Shepherd with a deeply devoted heart. He is extremely attuned to his people and thrives in calm, predictable environments with clear routines. Like many shepherds, Kairos can be wary of unfamiliar people, dogs, and new situations. He needs a patient, experienced, child-free home with someone who understands structure, regulation, and thoughtful management. He responds very well to redirection, pattern games, and consistent routines, and does best with slow introductions. Kairos is more of a homebody than many GSDs and is happiest in his safe, familiar space. He absolutely loves fetch (orange Chuck-It balls only!) and water—especially swim fetch and splashing in creeks. Kairos would do best with one or two mostly home-based adults who can offer a steady, low-stimulation lifestyle. He has had a bite incident in the past and requires an experienced, well-managed home with clear boundaries.
