My wife adopted Fergus 6 years ago as a puppy just before we were married. As our family has grown and our lifestyle evolves, it’s become difficult to keep up with this big hairy boy’s needs in our tight fitting home.He’s truly an amazing animal and companion. Very loving, affectionate, and cuddly. His biggest frustration for us lately is getting into the trash or eating off the table if we leave things out while gone. That, combined with coat/shedding maintenance and religious vacuuming has added to much to our very full plates.He will thrive in an environment with lots of attention, affection, space to play, kids or other dogs, and a very routine grooming schedule.

I probably will stay close to about 45 lbs when I’m fully grown.  I am a playful pup that loves walks and any squeaky toy I can get my mouth on.  I’m super curious and want to explore everything!  I am very smart and will try to learn anything for a treat. I know how to sleep in my crate at night and am almost done with potty training.  I’m a pretty confident pup but I still get cautious when I feel out of my depth. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is My Tye – I guess my mom had a cocktail too many when she picked my name. But everyone just calls me Tye so that’s ok. I’m a 2.5 year old German Shepherd and weigh 75 lbs. I haven’t really been taught anything before I came to my foster home, which is a shame because I’m a typical GSD: intelligent & curious, athletic & high-energy, and thriving when you give me something to do. I’ve learned so much in the few days I’ve been here and am eager to keep going.  I’m house trained and crate trained and sleep all through the night; except, of course, when there are burglars, but luckily, we didn’t have any yet. I fetch balls even when you try to hide them and love to play with my toys. My favorite game is playing tug-of-war. And I have already learned to run through an agility tunnel! I’m still learning to walk on a leash. I love going on car rides and am learning to sit and wait when the door is opened. Once I’m worn out, I love to snuggle and hang out close to you.  I’m good with other large dogs but still a bit of an oaf and need to learn proper behavior around other dogs. I didn’t have interaction with small dogs yet.
