Charlie has been with me since he was a pup. He’s six years old now and is truly the greatest dog I’ve ever had. He’s loyal, friendly, and very loving. He spent most of his life out at my 40 acre ranch and is used to having lots of wide open spaces. He’s never run away. He always stays close by. He’s great on a leash. And will even walk beside me without a leash. He knows several commands including heal, sit, lay down, stay, come, get your frisbee, bring it, and back. I’m brokenhearted to have to find a home for him, but due to my life circumstances, I just can’t keep him with me any longer. I’m hoping to find the perfect home for him as I know he’s got many good years left and will bring the right family, unlimited joy, laughter, and love.

We are sweet 5 month old sisters, and while the shelter labeled us German Shepard/Rottweiler mixes, our foster mom thinks we look more like German Shepard/German pinscher mixes. We each weigh about 20 lbs, and will probably be medium to large dogs (50-60lbs) when we're full grown. We are super sweet but a little shy until we warm up to you. We are just learning how amazing having a two-legged best friend can be. Once you have our trust, we will be super loyal and want to join you on all your adventures. We love to flop for neck scratches, play with squeaky toys and run around exploring. Mainly we just want to be near you and learn all we can from you! We are super smart and very treat motivated. We are still babies and will need a home that can help us learn and grow; willing to work with us to continue our potty training journey, and be patient as we figure out how not to trip ourselves or you with the leash. But everyone just calls me Tye so that’s ok. I’m a 2.5 year old German Shepherd and weigh 75 lbs. I haven’t really been taught anything before I came to my foster home, which is a shame because I’m a typical GSD: intelligent & curious, athletic & high-energy, and thriving when you give me something to do. I’ve learned so much in the few days I’ve been here and am eager to keep going. I’m house trained and crate trained and sleep all through the night; except, of course, when there are burglars, but luckily, we didn’t have any yet. I fetch balls even when you try to hide them and love to play with my toys. My favorite game is playing tug-of-war. And I have already learned to run through an agility tunnel! I’m still learning to walk on a leash. I love going on car rides and am learning to sit and wait when the door is opened. Once I’m worn out, I love to snuggle and hang out close to you. I’m good with other large dogs but still a bit of an oaf and need to learn proper behavior around other dogs. I didn’t have interaction with small dogs yet. Same thing with kids: I’m good with the teenager in my home but haven’t met any little kids. I’m looking for an active family with GSD or high-energy, large dog experience, with a strong commitment to training and socialization so I can become the awesome German Shepherd that is hiding in me.
