Story
Meet Roddy! This handsome 12-week-old German Shepherd mix is full of life, love, and puppy zoomies! Thanks to Embark DNA testing, we know exactly what a special boy he is. Roddy’s story began in New Mexico, where he and his seven siblings were born to Mama Neveah, who was sadly scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, our founder Ashlie stepped in and brought the whole family to safety so they could each find their forever homes. Like any puppy, Roddy loves to run, play, and explore the world around him. His adoption fee includes his vaccinations, microchip, and his neuter surgery when he’s old enough. Roddy and his brother Dally are both searching for loving families. If your heart (and your yard!) are open, Roddy would love to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of zoomies into your life. Apply today to meet Roddy and give him the forever family he deserves!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 1, 2025, 1:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Mighty Mike, but my humans call me Mikey! I’m a very sweet and affectionate almost 5-year-old shepherd mix. Here are some of the best things about me: - I’m the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. If there’s a lap to be sat on I want to sit in it! I just love snuggling up to my humans. - I love going on walks and going for drives (I’m great in the car!). I also love pup cups, treats, taking naps, and chewing on bones! - I’m fully crate and potty trained, plus I know basic commands, but I would love to work on some training to learn even more. I’m a bit of a jumping jelly bean but we’re working on that! - I’m eager to please and pick up on training really quickly -  I do great with other dogs as long as they’re not too rambunctious. I like to play some, but mostly just want to do my own thing. I'd love to go to a loving family who will include me in their activities. I love all humans that I meet and do really well around kids, but sometimes I can get overly excited, so a home with kids over 8 years old would be best for me. And no kitties for me, please! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Charmin Carmen – Your Loyal Shadow and Gentle Sweetheart   Charmin Carmen is a 2-ish-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. At 62 pounds, she’s still gaining weight, but her spirit is already strong and full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, Charmin Carmen is the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be part of every moment—she’s got a little FOMO and loves to be wherever you are, soaking up attention and joining in on the fun. Charmin Carmen is wonderfully gentle and patient with kids, great with other dogs, and even gets along beautifully with cats and chickens. She truly is a gem. She is also: •Crate trained •House trained •Dog-door trained •Food motivated and eager to learn   She does have a Level 5 heart murmur, which she manages with daily medication costing about $200 per month. Carmen handles her meds like a champ, and they help her live a happy, comfortable life. Also, due to her heart murmur, she isn’t able to be safely spayed so her adopter will need to agree to keep her away from un-neutered males unsupervised. It wouldn’t be good for her to get pregnant.   Carmen is “very sweet with everyone,” but what makes her truly special is how deeply she bonds with her people. If you’re looking for a warm, devoted companion who will follow you with unwavering love, Carmen is your girl. Carmen is ready for her forever home—a place where she can be safe, cherished, and included in all the moments she loves.   If you think you might be the perfect match for Carmen, fill out an application to meet her today!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2025, 3:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is My Tye – I guess my mom had a cocktail too many when she picked my name. But everyone just calls me Tye so that’s ok. I’m a 20-month-old German Shepherd and weigh 75 lbs. I haven’t really been taught anything before I came to my foster home, which is a shame because I’m a typical GSD: intelligent & curious, athletic & high-energy, and thriving when you give me something to do. I’ve learned so much in the few days I’ve been here and am eager to keep going.  I’m house trained and crate trained and sleep all through the night; except, of course, when there are burglars, but luckily, we didn’t have any yet. I fetch balls even when you try to hide them and love to play with my toys. My favorite game is playing tug-of-war. And I have already learned to run through an agility tunnel! I’m still learning to walk on a leash. I love going on car rides and am learning to sit and wait when the door is opened. Once I’m worn out, I love to snuggle and hang out close to you.  I’m good with other large dogs but still a bit of an oaf and need to learn proper behavior around other dogs. I didn’t have interaction with small dogs yet. Same thing with kids: I’m good with the teenager in my home but haven’t met any little kids.  I’m looking for an active family with GSD or high-energy, large dog experience, with a strong commitment to training and socialization so I can become the awesome German Shepherd that is hiding in me. If you think I’m the right companion for you, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 2, 2025, 5:08 pm

Story
Had him since he was a puppy. Very affectionate and excited to see you when you get home. He does have a little too much energy and sometimes jumps on strangers, but usually mellows out after knowing them. He is trained, knowing basic commands and is working on his leash training. Most of the time he's relaxed, but gets a little excited when seeing other dogs. Once he is off the leash, in the dog park, he playfully joins the other dogs. Wish I could keep him, but I can no longer afford a place that allows pets. Looking for a good home, ideally with a decent size yard or someone willing to walk him daily.
