Story
Meet Sally Breed: German Shepherd Sex: Female DOB: 5/13/2025 Weight: 57 Pounds Health: Healthy and doing well Sally is a beautiful young German Shepherd with bright, intelligent eyes and a gentle heart. At just 10 months old, she is still growing into the wonderful companion she is destined to become. She has that classic shepherd mix of playful energy and calm devotion, making her both fun and wonderfully easy to bond with. Sally is at a fantastic age where she is eager to learn, eager to connect, and ready to build a lifelong bond with her forever family. Personality Sally has a lovely balance of playful energy and calm affection. She enjoys playtime and being active, but she also has a naturally relaxed side that allows her to settle down and enjoy quiet moments with her people. She is sweet, attentive, and forms strong connections with those around her. Sally enjoys being part of the action but is equally happy simply being close to her humans, offering her quiet companionship and loyal presence. Breed Info German Shepherds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong bond with their families. They are highly trainable dogs who thrive when given both mental stimulation and physical activity. Shepherds are often eager to learn and enjoy having a purpose, whether that’s training exercises, walks, play sessions, or simply being involved in daily life. With proper guidance and structure, they grow into incredibly devoted companions. Owner Responsibilities As a young shepherd, Sally will benefit from continued training, socialization, and regular activity. Daily walks, play sessions, and mentally stimulating activities will help her grow into a confident and balanced adult dog. Positive reinforcement training will strengthen her bond with her adopter and help channel her intelligence in positive ways. Shepherds thrive when they are included as true members of the family. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before adopting Sally, it’s important to consider your long-term stability and readiness. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Sally move with you? Do you have time each day for exercise, companionship, and training? Are you financially prepared for routine veterinary care, food, and unexpected medical needs? Adoption means making a lifelong commitment to your dog through every stage of life. Vet Care Even though Sally is healthy, adopters should establish care with their own veterinarian soon after adoption. This helps ensure preventative care continues properly and provides a trusted medical partner to support her long-term health. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule Like most rescue dogs, Sally will need time to adjust to her new home. The first 3 days she may feel unsure as she decompresses from the transition. The first 3 weeks she will begin learning your routine and feeling more comfortable. By 3 months, her confidence will grow and her loving personality will truly shine. Patience and consistency during this time will help Sally feel safe and secure. Why Sally? Sally is a wonderful young dog with so much love and loyalty to offer. With her gentle nature, playful spirit, and intelligent mind, she has everything it takes to become an incredible lifelong companion. For the family who gives her the chance, Sally will grow into a devoted friend who brings joy, loyalty, and unconditional love for years to come.
