Story
Calli is a sweet 6-month-old German Shepherd with a little bit of Australian Shepherd. Calli is very intelligent and food motivated! She is eager to please and likes being with her people. Although she can be timid, she gets along well with other dogs. She loves running around with other dogs at the park. We got Calli in October and began training with her right away. She has been attending puppy classes and is a star student. She has high energy as a working dog so we do our best to get her mental stimulation and exercise every day. We recently found out that we are having our first baby, and we know that we cannot give Calli the time she deserves to have a fulfilled life. We are hoping to find her a family with an active lifestyle who can give her the time and attention she deserves.

Story
This is Mila. She has a back story that helps explain why I am having to rehome her and why an experienced adopter is preferred. She was originally my neighbors X-mas puppy 22, born Oct. A week later she was put outside and left there. Untrained, unsocialized, unloved and malnourished as my partner and I watched in horror. 8/23 the neighbor came to us asking us to watch her while he tried to rehome her as he was moving. We took her on the spot. She was filthy, underweight and terrified. Now she is an entirely different dog, but shes still fairly anxious and has trauma. She has a nervous bladder around new people or if she hears an angry voice/door slam/etc. She gets along with other dogs but it’s personality dependent. She loves fetch, running, cheese, and couch snuggles. Timid until she gets to know you and shes very loving. It’s hard to give her up but I cant have her and my other dog Nico snapping at each other. Might fair better with a female owner possibly but is ok with men.

Story
Benji is a 8ish month old rescue from eastern washington with a huge heart and an even bigger capacity for loyalty. He bonds deeply with his people and truly just wants to be your dog. The kind that follows you room to room, looks at you like you hung the moon, and takes his job of being your best friend very seriously. He’s still young, so he does need some continued training, but he’s smart, eager, and absolutely capable he just needs someone with the time and consistency to help him reach his full potential. With the right person or family, Benji is going to be an incredible companion. We love him dearly, and this decision is not an easy one. With a baby on the way and both of us working full-time, we simply can’t give Benji the time, training, and attention he deserves and he deserves a lot of it. If you’re looking for: • A loyal, affectionate young dog • A best friend who will grow with you • A pup with tons of potential and love to give Benji might be your guy.

Story
Seeking a Loving home for Leo and Nala! With a heavy heart, I am looking for a new home for my two beloved dogs, Leo and Nala. Due to a recent divorce and busy work schedule, I can no longer provide them with the care they deserve. My deepest wish is to find them a loving family who will cherish them as much as I have. 🐾 Leo: A 130lb German Shepherd mix with a calm, laid-back personality. He loves to snuggle and play but is generally low-maintenance and easygoing. 🐾 Nala: A 110 lb Lab mix who is full of energy, love, and joy. She’s playful, silly, and adores cuddles; her love language is affection! Though not from the same litter, Leo and Nala are deeply bonded and must stay together. They do well with cats but would thrive best in a home where they are the only dogs. If you or someone you know can provide them with the love and stability they need, please reach out. Finding the right home for them means everything to me. ❤️

Story
Meet BUDDY! Buddy is a very handsome 2.5-year male German Shepherd mix. Buddy is great with children and loves affection. Buddy knows all his basic commands and does great with other dogs. He's a smart guy, learns quickly and wants to please. Buddy loves to go on walks or play but can relax and take a nap throughout the day as well. His favorite thing is playing in the water hose and of course, hanging with his people, plus being a perfect companion. Buddy is great on a leashed and is perfect in the home. He is submissive towards everyone and has an excellent temperament. Buddy would be a great family dog and a wonderful addition. He is neutered, up-to-date with vaccinations, flea, and tick prevention given, heart worm tested (negative) and microchipped. Buddy is located in Vancouver Washington and is available to meet anytime. Please email cynthia@pawsforliferescue.net for more information and to arrange meeting him!
