✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Kuku🧡 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_rescue 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Kuku is one of the puppies of Danpoong at Adogs. During a freezing winter, Danpoong gave birth to five puppies at a shelter and was soon diagnosed with mange. Adogs urgently rescued the family. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Loves people and greets familiar ones with kisses! However, he gets frightened by quick movements or unfamiliar people—he may bark and avoid treats. Also he barks at guests and hides in another room. With a slow and gentle approach, he opens up quickly. * With Dogs: Is indifferent to dogs who don’t engage but approaches those who show interest in him. Gets along very well with even new canine friends. Mostly gets along well with dogs. * With Cats: Calm around still cats and gently sniffs them. May try to chase if they run. Could react defensively to aggressive cats, so supervision is necessary. * Separation Anxiety: None. Plays or naps peacefully when alone. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but is 100% trained using indoor pee pads too. * Hygiene: Doesn’t enjoy baths but tolerates them well. Is afraid of nail trimming and may nip, so walks are used to keep nails short. Is very good with brushing and toothbrushing. * Walks: Goes for walks with double leashes. During walks, we are also working on recall training. Except in situations where someone suddenly approaches and startles him, he remains calm and focused when called by name, and comes toward his handler. Has become more accustomed to walking and no longer reacts to passing birds or cats. * Car Sickness: Experiences motion sickness after about 15 minutes. It’s best to avoid feeding him right before car rides. * Nips on alert when approached too quickly by strangers. It seems to be defensive nip. Sometimes nibbles when he doesn’t feel like doing, so caution is needed. * Is a bit gluttonous and may growl when people touch his favorite treats. Sometimes barks in fear when he hears a sudden or unfamiliar noise, but calms down quickly. * Love treats. Comes running, sits and waits in anticipation once he hears the opening of the fridge. Loves playing tug! * Expresses discomfort by baring teeth if picked up or touched against his will. * Is a genius who has mastered 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'nose' and 'V,' and can tell the difference of command between his right and left paw!

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Namu🌳 (Namu means tree in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and hearworm negative. * Was recently diagnosed with a bladder infection so care is needed to make sure he drinks enough water. 2.) Rescue Story * Namu was staying at the Gimje City Shelter, where the accomodation space was beyond the limit. Namu was in the risk of being put down while staying in such a crowded place. Adogs team rescued him in time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is shy and wary of strangers, and tends to fear being touched. Can be touched when trust is built, so it's important to wait and go at his own pace. * With Dogs: Gives a warning sign such as growling when new dogs smell him or get in his face. Wags his tail and greets familiar dogs, but prefers being alone rather than playing or hanging out with other dogs. * Walks: Is generally good at walking, but tries to chew the leash when he gets surprised by loud noises or feels tension on the leash. Attention is needed to prevent him from running away by chewing the leash. Doesn’t react much to other animals. Doesn’t pay much attention to other animals during walks. * Hygiene: Takes baths and brushing very well! Gets nervous a bit during toenail trimming, but makes no big fuss. * Nip: Growls as a warning sign if unfamiliar dogs get in his face, and may bite if they don’t stop. If other dogs show interest in his food, punches at them with his muzzle, signaling for them to stay away. Has not nipped at a person yet, but has possibility to do it if a stranger suddenly tries to touch him or he feels threatened. * Likes: Loves eating. However, may show threatening action to other dogs as if saying not to come close to him during his meal time. So caution is needed. * Dislikes: Tends to be shy and timid, so he feels uncomfortable with new people or dogs. Needs time to be accustomed to them.

Story
**About Zoe:** Thank you for interested in adopting Zoe. Please know that Zoe is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Personality Zoe is a very friendly, playful, energetic, and affectionate girl. Whether she is at a dog park or an adoption event, she always behaves with great confidence. She loves being touched by people. Strangers, male or female, can pet her without any issue. She even rolls over and sweetly lets strangers rub her belly. 🔷 Food Guarding Behavior With people, Zoe shows no signs of food guarding at all; you can even take food directly from her mouth. With other dogs, as long as each dog has its own bowl and maintains a proper distance while eating kibble, Zoe does not display any food guarding behavior. However, when it comes to high-value treats, if another dog nearby is more eager or moves quickly toward the treat, Zoe may turn her head, show her teeth, or bark as a warning. This behavior should be carefully monitored. 🔷 Home She enjoys sitting on the sofa and can sleep on a mat or elevated bed. At her foster home, she sleeps in a crate for both naps and at night (this is for easier management due to the number of dogs). When she stayed with her rescuer, she slept on a floor mat in the bedroom since dogs weren’t allowed on the bed. However, she sometimes jumped onto the bed in the morning; if told to get down, she would obediently return to her mat. She rarely barks at home, only when someone enters the immediate front area of the house. Once the person leaves, she stops barking. 🔷 Transportation She is comfortable riding in the car and does not get carsick. 🔷 Bathing She behaves very well during baths and is cooperative when having her anal glands expressed. She is also fine with having her fur blow-dried using either a pet dryer or a standard hair dryer. 🔷 Walking on Leash She walks steadily on a leash. However, if she sees cats, squirrels, mice, birds, or cockroaches, she may get excited and try to rush forward, but she is easily managed. When preparing for a walk, she gets very excited indoors and may jump or pounce on people. Asking her to sit (and being firm about it) before opening the door is recommended. Sometimes, if she urgently needs to pee or poop, she may pull briefly during the walk, but she returns to her normal pace afterward. Occasionally, when she doesn't want to go home yet, she will stand still and refuse to move. Just stay firm, and she will eventually follow. 🔷 With Other Dogs She generally gets along well with other dogs. She is playful but can be a bit rough, which not all dogs appreciate. When going for walks or visiting dog parks, observe how other dogs respond to her enthusiasm. 🔷 With People She is very affectionate and loves both men and women. However, she once got scared by a small child, so she is not very comfortable around preschool-aged children. Currently, if a child runs toward her quickly, she becomes nervous and barks. At dog parks, if small children are present, it is best to put her on a leash first to observe her reaction. ❌❌ Dislikes She dislikes the sound of high heels—especially heeled slippers hitting the floor. This noise scares her and can cause her to bark. ❤️❤️ Likes She loves toys, especially plushies and balls. She doesn’t usually destroy plush toys, but for other types of chew toys, ensure they are durable and appropriate for her strength. 🔷 Affectionate Behavior She is extremely affectionate. Sometimes, when her rescuer naps on the living room sofa, Zoe will come over and ask for cuddles. If the petting stops, she will use her paw to ask for more. This is generally fine, but when her nails are long, her pawing can accidentally scratch you. You can correct this behavior by speaking firmly—she understands and will lie down quietly. 🔷 Potty Training At her foster home, she uses pee pads or artificial grass for potty breaks. When outside, she can also relieve herself quickly during walks. 🔷 Interaction with Cats She gets excited and tends to chase cats, so she is not recommended for adoption by a family that currently owns cats.

Story
I was pulled from El Campo Animal Control, along with my puppies, because I had delivered a litter of six pups in the shelter. SPOT had been contacted by the finder, who lives in Eagle Lake area, and gave her resources to help rehome the momma and older puppy. The finder lied to ECAC in order to get them into the shelter, where it was discovered she was VERY pregnant. Email help@wcspot.org for adoption information.

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees, but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. It’s so sad with the never ending need for dogs to be pulled off euthanasia lists in CA all day everyday. We were sent countless emails with many dogs from different shelters needing help because they were all going to be euthanized as they had run out of time. It was an extremely sad situation & still is every day. On the list at one of the shelters was Lucy. It’s brutal trying to pick who gets the opportunity to live & who doesn’t. Lucy was one of the lucky ones on this day & thank goodness we did because she is the biggest angel you will ever meet. Our beautiful Lucy will now be looking for a home to cherish her. Lucy was brought back to WA from CA & we tested her in a daycare & she did well. Lucy’s foster mum & dad said she loves to be loved. She comes up to you & puts her face on your face for kisses & has so much gratitude towards them. She is the nicest girl they said & nothing bothers her. She absolutely adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, we don’t know if this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. When a clean blanket comes out she gets so excited to go lay on it. She enjoys sleeping with her foster siblings. Lucy is wonderful with her baths & grooms as she has learnt since we got her to have them. Lucy loves to eat & is a wonderful eater now & she is not shy about that. Our vet recommended Lucy lose weight & we got her down in weight as she was previously on kibble on her other foster home but in her current foster home she is on a clean diet. She eats a clean diet of, raw proteins, fruits, vegetables a small of grains, along with different supplements & fats. She also loves collagen sticks & bully sticks. Lucy is fed by herself as she does not like other dogs coming near her food. She is a very sweet intelligent dog her foster mum said. In her current foster home she enjoys going into the backyard & sunning herself for small amounts of time only. She does walk really well on a leash. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Lucy as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. Please do not say you won’t crate her & then go & crate her, that is unacceptable. We are also looking for a forever home for Lucy where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Lucy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Lucy loves her dog friends so much & she enjoys being with them & has never met a dog she doesn’t like. She does not discriminate against breeds. She even loves puppies. We currently have her with other dogs in her loving foster home. Lucy needs a fully fenced backyard if it’s a freestanding house. Lucy is roughly 70 lbs, 8 years old & possibly a german shepherd but what she is mixed with we are not sure. We got Lucy a dental scale & polish & had a mass sampled & removed & it was benign. She is female, she had her shots, including DHPP, rabies & dewormed. But once these shots expire we will not redo them as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs & will only redo the rabies. Lucy has some arthritis due to normal aging but it does not stop her from doing anything. We have her on dasuquin. We have spent far more on Lucy with bringing her to WA with her travel costs from CA, her medical care in WA & trying to save her life etc than her adoption fee comes close to covering. We have spent roughly $2500 on this beautiful girl. Lucy has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around children so we do not recommend cats nor children but it’s always up to the adopters to responsible with their children, cats & dogs. We were not there when Lucy was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Lucy’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lucy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lucy & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lucy who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lucy has an adoption fee of $450 & does not even come close to what we have spent on rescuing her & medically. She is now ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
