Story
I was pulled from El Campo Animal Control, along with my puppies, because I had delivered a litter of six pups in the shelter. SPOT had been contacted by the finder, who lives in Eagle Lake area, and gave her resources to help rehome the momma and older puppy. The finder lied to ECAC in order to get them into the shelter, where it was discovered she was VERY pregnant. Email help@wcspot.org for adoption information.

Story
Hi, I’m Easton! I’m a gentle soul who enjoys being around both people and other dogs. I like attention and companionship — I just need a little time to feel safe and comfortable. Once I do, my sweet personality really starts to shine. I walk nicely on a leash and I’m potty trained, so I already have some great manners. I do best with someone who is patient and willing to let me move at my own pace, giving me the reassurance I need as I build confidence. If you’re looking for a kind, dog-friendly companion who just needs a calm, understanding home to help him feel secure, I’d love the chance to meet you. I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo! Our first meeting/interview for adoption occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Apply to adopt me at https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/BRAZ/27759-long-distance-adopt-app. If you have questions, please email jami@spcabc.org.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Namu🌳 (Namu means tree in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 💙 Name: Namu 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in May 2021) 💙 Weight: 10.1 kg / 22.3 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and hearworm negative. * Was recently diagnosed with a bladder infection, so care is needed to make sure he drinks enough water. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Namu was staying at the Gimje City Shelter, where the accomodation space was beyond the limit. Namu was in the risk of being put down while staying in such a crowded place. Adogs team rescued him in time. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy and wary of strangers, and tends to fear being touched. Can be touched when trust is built, so it's important to wait and go at his own pace. * With Dogs: Gives a warning sign such as growling when new dogs smell him or get in his face. Wags his tail and greets familiar dogs, but seems to prefer being alone to playing or hanging out with other dogs. * With Cats: Shows some aggression towards cats, so careful monitoring is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet, since he is living with other dogs as a group at the center. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty only since he is staying at the center. * Hygiene: Takes baths and brushing very well. Gets nervous a bit during toenail trimming but makes no big fuss. * Walks: Is generally good at walking, but tries to chew the leash when he gets surprised by loud noises or feels tension on the leash. Attention is needed to prevent him from running away by chewing the leash. Doesn’t react much to other animals. * Nip: Growls as a warning sign if unfamiliar dogs get in his face, and may bite if they don’t stop. If other dogs show interest in his food, punches at them with his muzzle, signaling for them to stay away. Has not nipped at a person yet, but has possibility to do it if a stranger suddenly tries to touch him or he feels threatened. * Likes: Loves eating. However, may show threatening action to other dogs when they are approaching during the meal time, as if saying not to come close to him. So caution is needed. * Dislikes: Tends to be shy and timid, so he feels uncomfortable with new people or dogs. Needs time to be accustomed to them.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Kuku🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Kuku is one of the puppies of #AdogsDanpoong. During one freezing winter, Danpoong gave birth to five puppies at a shelter and was soon diagnosed with mange. Adogs urgently rescued the family. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Loves people and greets familiar ones with kisses! Allows people to lightly touch him, but more he only allows stronger physical affection when he’s feeling happy. Although unafraid, he is on guard with unfamiliar people and when people make quick movements, he may bark and reject treats. Is scared of guests, barking at them and hiding in another room. With a slow and gentle approach, he opens up quickly. * With Dogs: Is indifferent to dogs who don’t engage but approaches those who show interest in him. Gets along very well with even new canine friends. Gets along with most dogs. * With Cats: Calm around still cats and gently sniffs them, but has a lot of curiosity and tries to chase cats that run away. Might try to fight back against aggressive cats, so supervision is necessary. Tends to bark when he sees a cat passing outside the kennel. * Separation Anxiety: None. Plays or naps peacefully when alone. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but is 100% trained using indoor pee pads too. * Hygiene: Doesn’t enjoy baths but tolerates them well. Is afraid of nail trimming and nips, so walks are used to keep nails short. Is very good with brushing and toothbrushing. * Walks: Goes for walks with double leashes. During walks, we are also working on recall training. Except in situations where someone suddenly approaches and startles him, he remains calm and focused when called by name, and comes toward his handler. Has become more accustomed to walking and no longer reacts to passing birds or cats. * Car Sickness: Experiences motion sickness after about 15 minutes. It’s best to avoid feeding him right before car rides. * Biting: Bites defensively when strangers approach and try to touch him immediately. This doesn’t seem to be out of aggression but because he’s trying to protect himself. Sometimes, he bites when being forced to do something, so caution is needed. * Barking: Is a bit gluttonous and may growl when people touch his favorite treats. Sometimes barks in fear when he hears a sudden or unfamiliar noise, but calms down quickly. * Likes: Loves treats. Comes running, sits and waits in anticipation once he hears the opening of the fridge. Loves playing tug, too! * Dislikes: Expresses discomfort by baring teeth if picked up or touched against his will. * Tricks: Is a genius who has mastered 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'nose' and 'V,' and understands the difference between right and left paws!

Story
Meet Brighton – Your Loyal, Goofy Adventure Buddy! Brighton is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with soft fur, mesmerizing eyes, and ears that could launch a thousand smiles. Found abandoned with his siblings along a highway in eastern Washington, this gentle boy has shown nothing but resilience, heart, and a longing for a place to call home. Smart and eager to please, Brighton is both house- and crate-trained. He walks beautifully on a gentle leader halter and would thrive with continued training to help him become the best walking companion he can be. With his energy and love for the outdoors, Brighton would make an excellent partner for hiking, running, or long walks. Though shy at first, once Brighton warms up, his goofy, playful side shines through. He loves chasing soccer balls, playing fetch with tennis balls or rope toys, and then happily curling up nearby while you relax. He’s loyal to his core and simply wants to be wherever his people are. Brighton has lived with dogs of all sizes—including a tiny 6-pound pup and a senior blind beagle—showing his gentle, respectful nature. Because he can be a bit sensitive, Brighton will do best in a home without young children. If you’re looking for a faithful companion who will keep you smiling on the trail and melt your heart at home, Brighton is ready to be your best friend. Could Brighton be the missing piece of your family? *************************************************************** ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
**About Mini:** Thank you for your interest in adopting Mini. Please know that Mini is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process for many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Mini's Rescue Story Personality: Mini is absolutely the most perfect FMD (Formosan Mountain Dog) we have ever encountered. No word describes her better than "perfect." Mini was once tied up with a heavy chain outside a house. The house was empty—no one lived there. The owner had simply tied Mini and another dog there, often leaving them without food or water. Since both dogs were chained and unable to forage, they could only bark for help. It was these barks that a member of our rescue organization heard while passing by. The rescuer tried to find the owner but quickly realized the house was abandoned. Neighbors said the owner only came by occasionally. Because the dogs were chained on private property right by the door, the rescuers couldn't take them immediately, so they committed to bringing them food every day. One day, the rescuer saw Mini wandering outside alone. Unsure why she had been abandoned, Mini was just moving aimlessly, sniffing for food, and even approaching people for attention. When she saw the rescuer from a distance, Mini recognized her. She quickly ran over and immediately lay on the ground, rolling onto her belly to show affection. Knowing Mini had been deliberately abandoned, the rescuer took her home immediately. What makes Mini so incredible is how incredibly smart and friendly she is. She immediately learned to use pee pads indoors and was accurate every time. Her calm, non-confrontational, and incredibly optimistic personality means she gets along wonderfully with people (including children), cats, and other dogs! Mini's rescuer summarizes her by saying: "Goofy, great natured, and very easy to care for." This perfect personality makes her an ideal match for both first-time and experienced families. Mini spent her early life chained up and hungry. Now, she is ready to find her forever home—a home that can give her the warmth and love she has always deserved. If you are interested in Mini, please contact us anytime!
