Story
Fajita is ready to find her forever home! This sizzling skillet is 100% able to carry any conversation! She often offers up her opinion on things such as music, the weather, and what’s going on next door! Spicy as she may be, she is also a sweet and cuddly fuzzball who asks for attention by sitting in your lap or checking in with little “A-roo!” to see if you are free.
Fajita is a big fan of the outdoors! Napping in the fresh air, going on car rides to visit vineyards (especially the ones with cheese!), and playing chase or fetch are the best! And, she really LOVES the snow! And snuggles! And fuzzy blankets! Fajita has almost as much love for life as she has fluff!
Speaking of her fluff, Fajita is amazing with her groomers! Maintaining her floof is very important, as she gets overheated easily. Luckily, Fajita loves bathtubs and water! Even playing in the empty tub and helping clean shower doors by licking them is lots of fun. Her foster family rewards good behavior by running a little water in the tub and letting her “dig” with her toys!
This sweet-hearted and active pup is very playful and enjoys the company of larger, confident dogs. After a nice romp with her friends, she loves to cuddle up to someone for nap time- human or dog! A canine companion willing to be a pillow would make Fajita’s snuggle dreams come true!
Fajita is super smart, loves treats and praise, and does best when she has a job. Training and consistency will be a key component of a happy life with her. She will thrive in a home that has experience with large breed dogs and a large fenced yard, Fajita is no apartment girl! She’s doing really well with socialization, basic cues, and is house and crate trained.
We estimate Fajita was born in September of 2022, so is still a pup, and as of April weighs around 55-60 pounds. She is a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix and will grow to be a very big girl! If you’re after a fluffy snuggle buddy who enjoys a good dialogue, look no further than Fajita!
Fajita’s adoption fee is $525 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
