Story
Hi future family, My name is Donggu. 😊 I’m a 4-year-old German Shepherd boy weighing around 32kg. I may look big and strong on the outside, but deep down I’m a gentle, calm soul who truly loves people. 💛 Before I was rescued, I was living in a city shelter and came very close to euthanasia. I went through difficult times, but somehow I never lost my trust in humans. Even now, I still greet people with kindness and an open heart. When I meet someone new, I usually lower my head slightly and greet them very politely — that’s just my way of saying hello. During walks, I sometimes wag my tail and gently approach people passing by because I genuinely enjoy human company. And honestly… if you have a treat, we’ll probably become best friends very quickly. 😊 If unfamiliar visitors come into the house, I may be a little cautious at first, but I warm up pretty fast once I realize everything is okay. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. 🐕🐈 Whether I become your one and only dog or join a home with other pets, I adapt very well and enjoy peaceful companionship. My personality is calm and gentle overall, but I also enjoy outdoor activities and walks. I’m not overly high-energy, so I’m the kind of dog who enjoys both adventure and relaxing quietly beside my family. Walks are one of my favorite things in the world. I love sniffing around and exploring new scents. I can pull on the leash a little sometimes because I get excited, but if my person asks me to stop, I listen pretty well. Loud cars, flapping banners, cats, or birds during walks don’t really bother me much — I’m usually more focused on enjoying the moment with my human. I prefer going potty outside and enjoy having a regular routine, usually with morning and evening walks. I don’t struggle with separation anxiety, but if soft toys, cushions, or fluffy items are left around while I’m alone, I might chew on them a little for fun. Other than that, I’m a very quiet and relaxed boy at home and rarely bark. I absolutely love sweet potatoes and chicken, and I’m not picky with food at all. Even taking medicine is easy for me if it’s hidden inside a yummy snack. I’m also very polite at the vet and stay calm during checkups.💛 People say I’m smart and very observant. If you teach me something calmly, I try hard to understand what you want from me. Right now, I’m learning “sit” and doing my best every day. 😊 I’ve experienced many changes and difficult moments in my life, but I still believe in people and still know how to love. Now I’m hoping to find more than just a temporary place to stay. I want a real family — someone to walk beside, rest beside, grow older beside, and share everyday life with. I’m waiting patiently for the family who will fill the rest of my life with love, comfort, and forever memories. 🐾 Love, Donggu

Story
Mogi looks like a dog who has never had it easy. Eight years old. Underweight. Skin so inflamed and uncomfortable that you can tell he’s been fighting infections for a long time. His little body is tired. His coat is patchy and sore. His eyes are irritated and rolled inward. His ears are painful. There’s even a large mass hanging from his chest. He looks neglected. Like life has not been kind to him. But when I met him? No aggression. Not a single growl. Not a snap. Not even a bark. Just a stiff, unsure older shepherd mix standing there in the cutest little green jacket, like he was quietly hoping someone would finally see him. He took treats gently. He allowed touch. He was cautious, yes. Shut down. Overwhelmed. But staff even told me they have not seen aggression from him. ##2663067##

Story
6 yr old blk/tan F GSD/husky mix A middle aged shepherd girl with a heart of gold! This sweet girl may be going gray in the face, but she still has so much love to give and is not ready to slow down just yet. Rocco loves human affection and allowed all over touch, and she even let us in on her treat-catching talents! She can be excitable just because she is so happy to see you, and sometimes will bark and chase her tail to get attention, but she listens pretty well and is a very good girl. Rocco needs a home that will give her a comfy place to rest and get her bursts of energy out! She doesn’t necessarily need an active home, just one with lots of love. When testing Rocco with other dogs, she was tolerant but a little uncomfortable. She wasn’t overly interested in sniffing and tucked her tail when her own butt was sniffed. She much preferred human attention, and she would likely do best with other calm, neutral dogs who are okay letting her have a little space to breathe. ##2605190##

Story
Max is a striking, intelligent German Shepherd mix with a steady presence and a thoughtful way of moving through the world. He’s not a chaotic or overly reactive dog—in fact, he tends to observe first, take things in, and then decide how he wants to engage. On walks, he’s curious and engaged with his environment, enjoys exploring on a long line, and has been making consistent progress with recall and leash manners. He does well around other dogs, showing interest without aggression, and benefits from clear structure and calm, consistent handling. Max forms trust gradually, especially with men. He will approach, sniff, and engage at his own pace, but can become hesitant if someone reaches toward him too quickly or pushes interaction. When given space and allowed to initiate contact, he settles more comfortably and shows a quiet, respectful curiosity. He’s not looking for constant attention—he’s the kind of dog who prefers a more mutual, earned connection rather than immediate closeness. This makes him a good match for someone who understands canine body language and is willing to let the relationship build naturally. In the home, Max is settling in well and shows the ability to relax once he understands the rhythm of the environment. He responds well to guidance, redirection, and calm leadership, and he’s continuing to gain confidence each day. Max will do best in a home that values structure, patience, and a slower introduction to new people. With the right person, he has the potential to become a deeply loyal and steady companion, one who chooses connection in a grounded and meaningful way. DETAILS: Crate trained, potty trained, is good with small dogs and large dogs after appropriate greeting, loves long-line walks and hikes. Thrives with structure and patience. Not very keen on cars yet, and slow training is being done there. No exposure to cats or small children.  ##2657151##
