    Beary Tree is a stunning, medium energy, 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix. He only weighs about 50 lbs but is steadily gaining some much needed weight. He loves people of all sizes and is convinced that everyone loves himback. He really wants to greet everyone he sees and is so happy when they can’t resist his sweet eyes and soft fluffy fur and come over to say hi. Beary enjoys a walk and is very good on a leash and in a car. He is a quick learner and is doing well learning his basic commands. He is currently sleeping in a crate at night and doing well. He tested well in the shelter with other dogs. He is mostly house trained and likes to find a shady spot on the grass and lounge, so a fenced yard would be wonderful. This lady was found on Booger Hill Road on 9/22/23 and she has a wound on her next. If she belongs to you please contact the shelter. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200.
