Lovely Luna is looking for a new home because her owners now spend half the year overseas. She loves other dogs & children. We don't know about cats. Luna is 6 yrs old, house & crate-trained, up to date on vaccines & spayed. This is a courtesy posting to ensure this pup lands in a great home. The rescue will reach out to vets, references, property managers, etc as we would for dogs in our program but the adoption will be a private agreement between the owner & adopter. All records will be provided by the owner at adoption. If you'd like to find out more about making this gorgeous doggy a member of your family and to assess better whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy before applying.

Story
Meet Saul - Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4-year-2-month- old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 99 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am however VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean, but that's because I am a gentleman. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love, Saul!

Story
He is a super sweet boy around the age of 1 year old. He is Great Pyrenees and completely white in color. He loves loves to walk, play with other dogs and good with kids. Unknown on the cat part and doesn’t seem to have a prey instinct at all. He would need to be in a home with a fenced in yard and he isn’t fond of a dog crate at all. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
She is under a year old and super sweet! She is learning house manners and loves giving kisses and hugs. She appears to be Great Pyrenees /Golden or Collie mix with a super personality. She is great with other dogs and kids with cats being unknown. She does need to eat in a separate area from, other animals and came in starved. She is good in a crate and loves to be walked. She came in with her sister Lourdes as well. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
