Story
Chewy was a rescue dogs, he was rescued from a puppy mill and we took him home after he was rescued. He’s a four and half year old big boy, 100+ lb and he wants your love and affection all the time. He’s also a great guard dog, so if you have a big home with big yards, it would be perfect for him. He’s a very gentle boy and great addition to your home.

Story
Clifford is an 11 month old great preyness. He is Awesome with all dogs and cats. Housebroken, walks great on a leash. He isn't a big fan of the crate. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
Meet Saul - I am a 3 year old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 80 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I also get along great with all dogs young or old as I currently have a fur friend that I play with everyday. I do have allot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Sunday between 12 pm and 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love Saul!

Story
Daphne is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees. She came to us after being surrendered to the shelter, only one of the two dogs could make the move with the family. This poor girl was wide eyed and didn’t do well in the shelter environment, so we brought her into our program. With TLC, a soft bed, and a lot less noise Daphne is doing very well in her foster home. She gets along with the other dogs, cats, and children in the home and is no trouble. Going for rides in the car is her favorite pastime. She also loves going for walks, even though she may be a little slow, and exploring in the yard. Daphne is well behaved for baths and loves to be brushed and have her tummy scratched. Daphne is looking for her forever home where they understand what it takes to take proper care of a dog this size with significant grooming needs. Daphne is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. Please email for more information and an application

Story
4 months/30 lbs This little dude baffles me on breed. He has Dew Claws, Pyr? But I took a poll on FB, and everyone said JRT? He does bounce around a lot and is very sweet. Pretty quiet most of the time, unless he is hungry.
