Story
Lottie – 2 Month Old Great Pyrenees Mix Lottie is a 2 month old Great Pyrenees mix with a soft, fluffy coat and a gentle, sweet nature. Her mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, Lottie is expected to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Lottie will likely develop these traits as she matures. Because of this, she will do best in a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about the needs of guardian breeds. At this age, Lottie is a typical young puppy who enjoys being held, playing, and exploring her surroundings. As she grows, she will need structure, consistent training, and an environment suited for a large breed dog. Lottie is: Spayed Microchipped Up to date on vaccines and preventions Adoption Fee: $250 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption (includes transport to your area) Lottie is looking for a home prepared for a large, loyal companion and ready to provide the guidance and care she will need as she grows.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX. DOGS ARE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org 🎩🐾 Meet Mr. Banks — Proper Gentleman by Day, Professional Cuddle Enthusiast by Night! 🐾🎩 Yes, that Mr. Banks. Named after the famously structured and dignified character from Mary Poppins… and much like his namesake, this Mr. Banks appreciates a well-run household and a predictable schedule. At approximately 3 years old (DOB 3/17/2023) and a dashing 95 pounds, Mr. Banks runs a tight ship. 6:01 — Enter the room. 6:02 — Dinner, belly rubs, cuddles. He does want to clarify that while punctuality is appreciated, he is willing to accept those three items in any order. He’s reasonable like that. Mr. Banks has that “lovin’ life” mentality that turns everyday moments into grand events. A walk isn’t just a walk — it’s a parade. A car ride isn’t just transportation — it’s a red-carpet appearance. A trip to the coffee shop? Obviously he’ll take a puppaccino. He has standards. Despite his impressive 95-pound presence, Mr. Banks is all manners and charm: • House trained ✔ • Crate trained ✔ • Knows his basic commands ✔ • Does not jump on people ✔ • Does not get on furniture ✔ • Does not scratch at doors ✔ • Up to date on vet care ✔ • Accepts brushing like the distinguished gentleman he is ✔ He is extremely treat-oriented. You’ve never seen focus until you’ve seen Mr. Banks lock eyes with a Milk-Bone. NASA could study that level of concentration. He’s fantastic with people — tall, small, and everyone in between. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys a good romp in the yard or toy session. A home with two-legged or four-legged siblings? That would be, in his professional opinion, “the bomb.” And let’s talk adventure size. At 95 lbs, he is: • Perfect for nature hikes (nose engaged the entire time) • Excellent for camping trips (will supervise the campsite) • River-ready (cool water = happy Banks) • Large enough for elite-level cuddle sessions • Big enough to make you feel safe • Just small enough to still try to be a lap dog Mr. Banks would thrive in a home that appreciates: • Consistency (he loves routine) • A little daily activity • A dog who follows the rules • A companion who is equal parts adventure buddy and couch confidant He truly wants to be part of your life — the everyday errands, the weekend fun, the quiet evenings at home. Everything is an adventure to him. Even taking the trash out could be a bonding moment. If you’re looking for a well-mannered, treat-motivated, adventure-ready, schedule-appreciating best friend with a big body and an even bigger heart… Mr. Banks may very well be your boy. 👉 Fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org and let’s see if this distinguished gentleman is ready to clock into your life forever 🐾✨

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Hi… I’m Daisy, the quiet one. But don’t let that fool you. I’m a 12-week-old Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix (at least that’s the best guess), currently weighing in at about 15 lbs of pure sweetness. I was found down on the Texas/Mexico border, but you wouldn’t know it by the way I carry myself. I’m what you might call… composed. Some say “stoic,” I say “just taking it all in.” While some puppies come in like a tornado, I prefer a softer approach. I’ve got a gentle play style, the kind that says, “we can have fun… but we don’t need to knock over furniture to do it.” I’m great with kids, love other dogs, and tend to bring a calm, peaceful energy wherever I go. Don’t get me wrong—I still enjoy playing and exploring. I just do it with a little more grace (and a lot less chaos) than some of my peers. Think “sweet old soul in a puppy body.” I’m also a big fan of the simple things: -Quiet companionship -Soft pets and kind voices -Cozy spots to nap near my people I may not be the loudest or the wildest pup in the room, but I notice everything—and I bond deeply with my humans. Once I’m yours, I’m yours. Loyal, loving, and always nearby (probably laying politely at your feet like the little lady I am). Apply today at haydudeequine.org If you’re looking for a gentle, kind-hearted companion with a calm spirit and a sweet soul. I think we might be perfect for each other. 🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Your New Favorite Little Chaos Coordinator 💛 female - 3months - 20lbs (expected to be 50-60ish lbs fully grown) This girl is 100% puppy… and she takes that job very seriously! She’s got the curiosity of a detective, the coordination of a baby deer on roller skates, but beware she has the confidence of someone who absolutely believes your furniture should be her next chew toy. (Consider it her way of “redecorating.” You’re welcome.) A perfect mix of puppy chaos + heart-melting sweetness, she’s the kind of pup who keeps life interesting—and fills it with laughter while she’s at it. She’s crate trained and sleeps all night like an angel… but during the day? Oh, she’s busy. Exploring. Investigating. Wandering off on very important missions that may only exist in her head. She doesn’t go far or fast—but blink, and suddenly she’s like, “Don’t worry, I checked over here for you.” She’s still working on house training and learning how to operate her long legs (currently set to “slightly clumsy but adorable”), but she’s eager to figure it all out. 💛 Loves: people, playtime, other dogs, and WATER (future river adventure buddy alert!) 💛 Eating style: less “fine dining,” more “competitive speed event”—food is gone in seconds 💛 Special skills: sleeping so deeply you’ll check to make sure she’s still breathing, being irresistibly sweet, and keeping you on your toes She’s incredibly loving, very people-oriented, and does great with the other dogs in her foster home. Cats are currently a mystery, but at her young age, she should do just fine with proper introductions. At the end of the day, underneath all the goofy puppy antics is a truly sweet-natured girl who just wants someone to love her, guide her, and laugh along the way. If you’re ready for a little chaos, a lot of love, and a lifetime of “what is she doing now?”—this girl is ready to be your best friend 💕 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and get ready for daily LOL's!!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  JoJo is a gentle 4-year-old Bernedoodle with a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered. She came to Underdog as a breeder surrender and is still learning how big and wonderful the world can be. While she has some nervous energy and takes time to trust new people, and men especially, once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion. When Jojo came, she did have allergies and chewed her feet a lot.  We have kept her allergies at bay by feeding her Carna4 brand dog food.  That, a raw food diet, or a cooked whole food diet should be committed to be continued to keep her in optimum health. This sweet girl is potty trained, is good on a leash and loves her daily walks, comes when called, and is eager to learn with plenty of positive encouragement. JoJo would thrive in a calm, patient home with an assertive dog to show her the ropes and help build her confidence. She loves to play and has never met a dog that she instantly considers a new friend.  She would be happiest in a home with a dog 40+ pounds with whom she can race and play.  She is not the kind of pup who will rush into your arms right away, but with love, consistency, and kindness, she will reward you with a bond that runs deep.she binds closest with women, and while she does not need a fenced in yard, she must be leashed at all times. She does have an easier time adjusting to women versus men.  If you have the heart to offer JoJo the patience she needs, she’ll return it with unwavering love and the joy of watching her grow into her best self. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses.  Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.  Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a    particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Ple ase use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!         Funky is a lovable Anatolian Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Despite his size, Funky is convinced he’s a lap dog and will happily try to squeeze onto the couch to be as close to his people as possible. Sweet, affectionate, and eager to please, he’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes a cherished part of the family. At home, Funky is playful, goofy, and always ready for fun. He loves chasing toys and playing fetch, and he’s especially happy when he has other dogs to romp around with. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. Funky has also shown that he can live peacefully around farm animals, making him a versatile companion in many types of homes. Funky is a friendly boy who greets new people with a warm and welcoming attitude. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys a good balance of playtime and relaxation. While he doesn’t require a fenced yard, he’s currently working on leash training and is doing well learning to go out on leash for potty breaks and exercise. This smart pup already knows several helpful commands including “sit,” “kennel,” “outside,” “go potty,” and “wait.” He will even sit patiently and wait for permission before going to his food dish. Funky is fully potty trained and also knows how to use a dog door. Funky loves car rides and rides well, though he may “talk” a bit during the trip to let you know he’s along for the adventure. True to his playful nature, he has only shown interest in chewing on his toys. He has also tried to make friends with the household cats, though they haven’t quite returned his enthusiasm for playtime. His crate training is still a work in progress, but he continues to improve as he becomes more comfortable. Like many Anatolian Shepherds, Funky is intelligent, even-tempered, and can have an independent streak, but he truly loves making his people happy. Adding to his charm is a small overbite that gives him an extra dose of character and makes his already adorable face even more endearing. With his gentle nature, playful spirit, and affectionate personality, Funky is a truly special dog. He’s a sweet boy who just wants to love his people, have fun, and be part of the family—and he’s ready to bring plenty of joy and laughter to his forever home. I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up.
