Story
I rescued Cody from the shelter a month ago he gets along great with my 2 other girl huskies very playful and loves the pool and lake. BUT he does not like my male chihuahua, the chihuahua I recently inherent from mom passing and he's all attitude without teeth lol.. but Cody doesn't put up with him and has bitten him so I'm afraid he will really hurt him, been keeping them seperated but not fair to the chihuahua I keep him locked in my room while at work. Not sure if it's the size thing, male dominant but no homes with small dogs or cats. Actually he played with my sisters male boxer so I believe it's a small bratty dog thing he doesn't like. But we all love this goofy sweet loving boy that thinks he's a lap dog lol would love him to go to a good home and get updates on how he's doing

Story
Meet Katana!Katana is a 2 year old, 37lb Siberian Husky. She is a sweet and loving girl who thrives on attention and interaction. She`s super smart and knows some commands like `sit` and she`ll even give you a paw! Katana is food motivated, she`ll do just about anything for a treat. She`s great on a leash, but beware - she loves to play `catch me if you can`! With proper training and exercise, she`ll be a joy to walk. Due to her breed, Katana would be best with a secure, fenced yard to prevent escape attempts. As a stray who has been in our care a couple of times, she`s learned to be resourceful and may try to slip out if given the chance.Katana gets overexcited sometimes, which can lead to jumping up. Reminders are necessary to keep her manners in check. This high-energy girl loves interacting with other dogs, especially those with similar energy levels. She`d be an excellent addition to an active family with dog-savvy children. However, due to her breed`s potential prey drive, she`ll need to be monitored around cats.To maintain her beautiful white coat, regular grooming is essential. Brushing her regularly will help keep her coat shiny and healthy.Katana`s ideal home would be with an active family with a secure fenced yard, plenty of exercise opportunities, and a willingness to provide regular grooming. With patience, love, and proper training, she`ll become a loyal and loving companion. If you`re ready for an adventure-filled life with a sweet and loving Siberian Husky by your side, Katana might be the perfect match for you!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $200

Story
We adopted Angel in 2021 for the most part. She is a perfect dog, but with a husky breed, we knew what we were adopting. But with our family's busy lifestyle, giving her the attention, energy, and exercise she deserves has become burdensome. I just acquired a job that takes me downtown, away from family a few times, and with babies, it is tough to take care of Angel as well. She needs a family willing to give her the time and energy that Husky needs. She had Separation anxiety does not like being in the crate for long periods of time and is very clingy, but overall she is a very good dog and will make a very good companion for somebody.

Story
Nikita will do best in a home where he is the only dog, a big backyard as he loves to run (tall privacy fence as he has learned to climb a chained link fence). He is a dog who will chase after any small animals including small dogs, squirrels birds etc. He is leash reactive, does not do well on walks where there is high traffic or other animals.
