She’s a big, loving girl (about 80 lbs) with lots of personality and an eagerness to be part of an active home. About Hazel: Breed: Husky/German Shepherd mix Age: 5 years Weight: ~80 lbs Temperament: Very friendly and great with other dogs Energy Level: High — she loves walks, playtime, and staying busy Training: Knows sit, lay down, shake, spin, “outside,” and “bed” Health: Spayed, no current health issues What She Needs: Hazel is a wonderful dog, but she thrives when she gets plenty of time, exercise, and attention. Our family can’t give her the level of engagement she deserves, so we’re hoping to find a home that can give her the activity and companionship she loves. Due to a house fire we’re unable to keep this awesome guy. His name is Leo and he is 6 years old. Fun fact and you can see dots that make a L on his nose. He is such a great great asset to the family. He loves to sing especially happy birthday. He sits, shakes, he’ll even close your back door for a treat. He is energetic and need someone that’s going be able to give him the time and energy that he needs each day. He loves to play catch but also to sit on your lap and just get hugs. My Friends at Wayside say: -I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -My previous owner said that I am house-trained.-Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period.
