She’s spayed, healthy, and available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter—transport can be arranged to bring this superstar home to you! Celine is joyful, curious, and always ready for fun. She brings a playful spark wherever she goes—whether it’s romping in the yard with dog friends, chasing her favorite toy, or exploring new places. Her ideal playmates are other large dogs who enjoy an energetic buddy and don’t mind a little bounce in their step. Meet Xavier! Xavier came to us in July of 2023 as part of a human investigations case. Xavier was adopted and then returned with his best friend Frank after his owners unfortunately were no longer able to care for them. Frank and Xavier, although they aren't bonded, could technically go home together if someone was interested in them. Xavier is a bit on the older side with conditions such as arthritis due to his age, therefore he would do best in a calm settled home with adopters who would be willing to let him settle in at his own pace. He does have bursts where he could get high energy and the zoomies, so don't let his age fool you. He could live with children 13 years or older who respect his boundaries and would prefer a home without any feline friends. Xavier could live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. Xavier is a part of our ACJ Training Program, which means he is currently residing off campus at the Allegheny County Jail where he enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement, and force-free training. With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations.
