Shasta was my dear sister's dog. My sister passed away unexpectedly. My brother and I cannot take her due to our current pets. She's not cat-friendly. She is playful and does well with older kids and adults. We do not know about younger kids as I could not get a lot of information about her. I am working on finding the name of her vet so we can get all the information. She is with my sister's partner. He is moving in with an elderly parent where they cannot have dogs. So, we need to find her a home soon. She's in Dallas, TX.

Story
We are looking for a new home for our boy, Goose. He is a very social, people and dog loving husky with tons of energy and love to give. He loves to play and help in the yard, go on car rides, play at the dog park, and go on runs. We have had so much fun with him, but unfortunately we have both gotten new jobs that leave us unable to provide the same level of attention and time to him. He has had professional training and knows commands sit, lay, stay/wait, and shake. He loves to play with other dogs and children and is extremely friendly. This decision isn't easy, but we are really hoping to find him a home where he has all the time and space to play, exercise, and be loved. We rescued him from an unfortunate home, and he would do best in a home where he does not have to be away from his people/person.
