Story
Animal Information: Maple and her brother Moose were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water. Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care. Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 4.5 months old. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd.   We will be looking for single family homes with securely fenced yard. They are now safe and receiving the care they need as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy lives. Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was surrendered to our rescue when after they were rescued by a good samaritan and arrived to foster care on 4/20/26. They will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.May 26, 2026, 3:48 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Elvira! This petite 3-year-old, 38lb Siberian Husky is the perfect mix of playful, active, and goofy — everything you’d expect from a husky! Elvira loves people and has been friendly and playful with the other dogs in our care. She’d make an amazing adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, exploring, and spending time outdoors. Like many huskies, Elvira has a curious side and will need a secure 6ft+ wood fence to keep her safely contained — she’s a bit of an escape artist! She’s also quite interested in small critters like squirrels and bunnies, so a home without cats would be the best fit. If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited companion to join you on life’s adventures, Elvira might just be your perfect match! Elvira is spayed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home but we can't split them up. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 8 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle with each other. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. If you can foster or adopt Bass & Tenor, please email for an application. They are currently in Southern California but can be transported to Washington.
