Story
Elsa is a gorgeous Husky with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already crate and leash trained. She’s the perfect mix of spirited and obedient—ready to run, play, and then settle in for a car ride (which she loves). Elsa is very people-friendly and thrives on attention and companionship. With her outgoing personality and loyal nature, she’ll make a fantastic addition to an active home that appreciates the intelligence and enthusiasm Huskies bring. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving best friend, Elsa is your perfect match. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2380668##

Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Amira — Still Waiting for Her Once-in-a-Lifetime Person 🐾✨ Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs Amira has been patient. - Patient while raising her babies. - Patient while watching other dogs find their homes. - Patient while waiting for her turn — her person, her family, her moment to finally be someone’s everything. Now it’s her time, her time to just breathe, her time to shine, her time to be the center of your universe. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect mix of sweetness and spirit. She carries herself with quiet confidence, soft eyes, and that unmistakable Husky sparkle that says, “Life is an adventure… and I’d really like to share it with you.” She’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys playtime and outdoor activity, but she also appreciates calm connection — the kind where she can simply sit beside you and feel safe, chosen, and home. Amira is great with kids and other dogs, bringing a steady, reassuring presence wherever she goes. Cats are still unknown, but with thoughtful introductions, she may do just fine. Now, because she is a Husky, let’s sprinkle in just a dash of reality: this girl is athletic and clever. Fences are more like “suggestions” in her world. She’ll thrive in a home committed to leash walks, secure outings, and including her in adventures rather than leaving her to entertain herself. She doesn’t want to run away — she wants to run with you. And truly, that’s what she wants most — to be with her person. After spending her early adulthood caring for others, she’s ready to be cared for. Ready for long walks, silly moments, cozy evenings, and the simple joy of belonging. She deserves a home where she’s not just a dog in the yard — but a cherished companion in the heart of the family. Amira isn’t loud about her wishes. She doesn’t demand attention. She just waits, hopeful, for someone to see her and say, “That’s my girl.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, adventure-ready best friend who will meet you at every sunrise and settle beside you at every sunset, Amira is ready. She’s been patient long enough. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet girl the forever she’s been quietly dreaming of. 💙🐾

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zion! Zion is a 1-year-old, 37 lb Shepherd/Husky/Kelpie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter who has shown himself to be an incredibly sweet, loving, and good-natured young dog with so much potential! Zion is adventurous, affectionate, and eager to be involved with his people. He does great with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets! He’s treat-motivated, eager to learn, and genuinely wants to please his handler, making him a great candidate for continued training and an active lifestyle. He came to us underweight, and we’re currently working on helping him gain healthy weight and build muscle. Zion would thrive in a home that wants to continue that journey with him, providing good nutrition, regular exercise, and activities that keep both his body and mind engaged. Zion is looking for an active home that enjoys walks, adventures, and spending time together. With structure, routine, and plenty of love, this good boy is going to make an incredible companion and lifelong best friend! Zion is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Elvira! This petite 3-year-old, 38lb Siberian Husky is the perfect mix of playful, active, and goofy — everything you’d expect from a husky! Elvira loves people and has been friendly and playful with the other dogs in our care. She’d make an amazing adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, exploring, and spending time outdoors. Like many huskies, Elvira has a curious side and will need a secure 6ft+ wood fence to keep her safely contained — she’s a bit of an escape artist! She’s also quite interested in small critters like squirrels and bunnies, so a home without cats would be the best fit. If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited companion to join you on life’s adventures, Elvira might just be your perfect match! Elvira is spayed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
HI - I'M MISTO! I am an almost 2-year-old husky-cattle dog mix maybe with some shepherd rolled in), rescued from a crowded California shelter. I'm currently in need of a foster or forever home! I was terrified there -- I mean really scared. I wouldn't even come up to greet people. But after a few days out of there, my sunshine personality came out! I'm a loving, dog-friendly boy who would do well with another dog in the home, or as an only dog, too. I love to play and am happy! Change is a bit scary for me so I would do well with both a patient and active person, who could take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have the most beautiful blue eyes, and I weigh about 50 lbs. Please email for an application! I'm currently still in California but can be transported to you in Washington.
