Story
Sandy is a brave and beautiful girl with a heart of gold, looking for her forever family.  This affectionate and gentle soul has had a challenging past, but remains a loyal and loving companion.  At five years old, Sandy is an adult dog with a wealth of love and laughter to bring to her new family. She is a smart and playful girl who is always up for an adventure, with a playful spirit and a kind nature. Sandy is the perfect blend of energy and calm, always ready for a game but also happy to snuggle up. She is a true athlete, thriving with exercise and mental stimulation, and always eager to please.  Sandy has had a tough time, but her resilience and bravery shine through. She was loved and then trusted to someone who just left her behind, but her gentle spirit remains intact.  Her owner was found, and unable to take her back.  We were able to find out more about her, personality, and skills learned while with the family.  She used to live with a special needs child. She is good with other dogs and has even lived with a special-needs child, showing her adaptability and caring nature. Sandy is a people-oriented dog who thrives on companionship and adores humans. She is a friend to all, with a funny and playful side that will keep you on your toes.   This stunning girl is a Red Nose Siberian Husky, a true beauty with a unique look. She knows her commands, is leash-trained, and has previously worked with a trainer, showing her intelligence and willingness to learn. Sandy is the perfect dog for an active family who understands the breed's needs and can provide a stable, loving home.  Are you ready to open your heart We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Elsa is a gorgeous Husky with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already crate and leash trained. She’s the perfect mix of spirited and obedient—ready to run, play, and then settle in for a car ride (which she loves). Elsa is very people-friendly and thrives on attention and companionship. With her outgoing personality and loyal nature, she’ll make a fantastic addition to an active home that appreciates the intelligence and enthusiasm Huskies bring. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving best friend, Elsa is your perfect match. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2380668##

Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Story
HI - I'M MISTO! I am an almost 2-year-old husky-cattle dog mix maybe with some shepherd rolled in), rescued from a crowded California shelter. I'm currently in need of a foster or forever home! I was terrified there -- I mean really scared. I wouldn't even come up to greet people. But after a few days out of there, my sunshine personality came out! I'm a loving, dog-friendly boy who would do well with another dog in the home, or as an only dog, too. I love to play and am happy! Change is a bit scary for me so I would do well with both a patient and active person, who could take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have the most beautiful blue eyes, and I weigh about 50 lbs. Please email for an application! I'm currently still in California but can be transported to you in Washington.

Story
MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home but we can't split them up. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 8 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle with each other. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. If you can foster or adopt Bass & Tenor, please email for an application. They are currently in Southern California but can be transported to Washington.

Story
HI THERE, I'M IVY, a 3-year-old Siberian Husky girl, currently in the Greater Seattle area. I've got a heart as big as a park and a spirit as bright as sunshine. I'm a sweet soul, always ready to share my warmth with you. I'm pretty smart too, I've been told. I love exploring, sniffing out new things, and can slip out of a collar in no time. I'm also quite independent, content to entertain myself, but I do love humans. Your company will my favorite pastime. I'm mellow for a husky, never one for unnecessary fuss. And I'm cuddly, I love a good snuggle. My curiosity keeps life interesting, and my gentleness makes me a great companion. I was rescued from a California shelter, where I had a kennel mate. But I can be a bit of an alpha girl, so my canine companion would need to be pretty special and understanding of my bossy girl ways. I truly am a people dog, and will be your shadow and welcome you home with a smile and a wag. I weigh about 55 lbs. Please email for an application.
