Moone Has Arrived in Wisconsin and Is Settling Into Foster Care
Moone has officially made the journey from Georgia to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is now settling into his foster home. After leaving shelter life behind, this handsome husky is getting the chance to relax, adjust to home life, and show off the playful personality that made him a favorite among shelter staff and volunteers.
Moone is a 3.5-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing approximately 45 pounds. He originally entered the shelter as a stray, so little is known about his background, but his fun-loving nature quickly became impossible to miss. With his goofy antics, playful attitude, and friendly personality, Moone has a way of bringing smiles to everyone he meets.
One thing that was immediately clear at the shelter was how much Moone enjoys the company of other dogs. He did wonderfully during dog testing and loves having canine friends to play with. His foster family is continuing to learn more about him each day, but he has already shown that he enjoys activity, companionship, and opportunities to explore the world around him.
As a medium-energy dog, Moone will thrive with regular exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it's neighborhood walks, hiking adventures, play sessions, or simply spending time outdoors, he is happiest when he has opportunities to stay active and engaged.
Because he was found as a stray, some of his training history remains unknown. He is continuing to work on leash manners and adjusting to life in a home environment. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Moone is expected to continue making great progress.
