Story
#A5596702 Prancer is a pretty 3-year-old gold spayed female Labrador Retriever who was discovered as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park shelter on November 30. Weighing 67 pounds, she has the cutest little white spot adorning her chest. Her bright, soulful eyes yearn for a profound connection and a loving family to call her own. Prancer's gentle and dainty demeanor adds an extra touch of grace to her already charming presence. Initially a bit timid, but once Prancer feels comfortable, her true spirit emerges.  Playing with a ball brings out her playful side, and she's an expert at soliciting affection, melting hearts with her endearing gestures. Prancer's leash manners are impeccable, showcasing her gentle nature and eagerness to please. Her willingness to explore the world alongside her human companion makes every walk a delightful experience. Prancer is a gem waiting to shine in the right environment. With patience and love, she'll blossom into the affectionate and playful companion she's meant to be.   PRANCER’S VIDEO: https://youtu.be/c6hwm6EI79Y   For more information, contact volunteer Sandy at  sangreenca@yahoo.com ------------ United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Hello everyone! My name is Knight and I'm a young shepherd mixed boy. I am a shy boy and it takes me some time to warm up to people. I am more comfortable and less anxious when I am around other dogs so a household with another dog would be ideal for me. Aside from that, I can be a very sweet boy and I will do anything for treats! I would appreciate someone who will be very patient with me and give me the love I deserve. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact the shelter and ask for Knight. Hope to see you soon! Story
Meet the sweet and adorable Roxie. She is an 8 month old German Shorthair Pointer mix who weighs 38lbs. Roxie knows how to have a good time and she’s looking for a family to share in the fun. She loves her toys but would be happy to share them with you. She will chase balls as long as you are wiling to toss them. Roxie walks well on a leash and would enjoy taking nice long walks or hikes. She is crate trained and would not mind sharing her home with another dog. Roxie is well behaved and will be a wonderful addition for a family who has time to spend with her. Apply today if you’d like to meet this sweet girl. If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis! If an animal is posted, they are VERY likely available. Please fill out an adoption app to get the best chance at being considered rather than contacting directly. If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family.
