Story
Don't miss out on this gorgeous chocolate-coated boy! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Jupiter aka Juju. He loves walks, playing tug-a-war, and doing food puzzles. He's one smart cookie! He has made SUCH incredible progress in the couple of months he has spent with his foster, working very hard to be a good boy. His biggest struggle is leash reactivity. It has been so rewarding to see his improvement through patient time spent outdoors, lots of treats and affirmation, and space from triggers (other dogs and bikes). Jupiter's special talent is that he can also jump baby gates and lock doors! He aims to please, loves to snug and give little kisses. He will need to keep working on his confidence around other dogs. We suspect that he will make a great running buddy. He has a good handle on potty training. Juju is quite comfortable in his crate, but sometimes feels left out and will let you know about it! He is a big ball of joy and will make a wonderful addition to an active home! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
House trained: Mostly, with an occasional accident Energy level: Medium Noise level: Quiet My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Prissy iswell, everything! Likes: Walks, eating snacks, giving kisses, watching out the window, playing at the park Hi, my names Prissy, but I promise that Im anything but! My foster mom says she wants to keep me, thats how amazing I am! She thinks Im the perfect mix of energy and chill, with a whole lot of adorable mixed in. Her permanent pack is already full, but word on the street is that youre looking for a new pup to add to the family! Could I be your girl? My foster family cant say enough good things about me, and theyve fostered a lot of dogs! They know what they're talking about. According to them, Im super gentle and well-behaved, and I get along with everybody I meet. Have I mentioned that Im also good with cats?? Im basically an angel! My foster family also says that for being nine months old, Im unbelievably calm and easy going. Oh sure, Ill break out the puppy energy when its time to play, or go for a walk, but overall Im a very laid back lady. Im amazing in my crate, and very good at settling down in the house. I like to spend my days watching out the window, chewing on my bones, playing with my toys, napping, and of course getting all the snuggles and cuddles and treats! Im also food motivated and eager to please, so training with me is a breeze! I already know sit, and I walk beautifully on leash and sleep through the night in my crate. Id love to learn lots more tricks with my forever family too! As far as things Im working on, I can sometimes be a little shy, but I only just moved to the city, and my foster family says Im getting more confident every day. I also love digging holes, so if youre not looking for a landscaper...well, I'm sure we can work something out! One of the cutest things that I do is waiting patiently for my older doggy foster sibling on walks. He moves a little slower than I do, so I always sit and wait for him when he falls behind. Pretty adorable, right? But thats always been my M.O. Loyal and loving! By now Im sure youre convinced that Id be an amazing dog for you. I agree! So, what do you say? Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Barks occasionally My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Luna is just how sweet she is! Likes: hiking, napping, chewing on bones, playing with other dogs Hi there! Im Luna! My foster family describes me as happy, gentle, playful, and curious! In other words, Im all the fun parts of a puppy, without the extra work of training and socialization, because Ive already been there, done that! My foster family also says that of all the dogs theyve fostered, Im the one that theyve come the closest to foster failing with! Hear that folks? Theres some competition! Youd better snap me up quick! I ended up at the shelter after my previous family left me behind on their property when they moved. That was sad, and I still dont understand why they were done loving me, because I wasnt done loving them. But its okay, Im not dwelling on it! Im looking ahead to brighter days! Life at the shelter was okay (I was everybodys favorite, so that made things pretty easy), but things really started looking up when I met my awesome foster family! Living with a family again is the best! I love them so much! One of my favorite things to do is follow my foster mom around the house to keep her company while shes doing chores or working from home. Im always happy to get some snacks or pets in too! I like napping near her, and being a part of whatever activity shes up to. When Im not hanging out with my humans, I love spending time with my 2 foster doggy foster siblings! We play at the park together, go for long walks together, cuddle together, and keep each other company when our humans go to work. My foster family says that Im super respectful of their space, and I dont have any problem sharing toys or snacks. In addition to being very polite and easy-going, Im also totally potty trained, dont chew on things Im not supposed to, can stay home alone outside of my crate no problem, and even know a few tricks! Allow me to astound you. I know sit and off! You may now clap. Id be happy to learn even more with my forever family, whatever makes them happy! Im a girl in her golden years whos looking for a cozy spot to land where I can get all the love I deserve. Im more than willing to give humans a second chance, so now I just need someone to return the favor. Ive got so much love and joy to give, and I just want to share it! Think we might be a match? Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: High Noise level: Barks occasionally My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Erwin is how he chases his tail! Hes so silly! Likes: Walks, going for runs, playing at the dog park Hi, Im Erwin! My foster family describes me as a super smart, snuggly boy who loves to play! Im a curious guy, and like to be involved in everything thats happening around the house! I help out by following my foster mom from room to room to make sure she isnt lonely while shes doing housework, and sitting next to her while she's working from home. Once were out and about, I like to explore everything I can, and sniff all the smells! I also love stopping by the dog park to play, and I always have a blast when I get to see my friends at daycare too! I also enjoy playing with my toys, working on food puzzles, and snacking on my chews. My special favorite are the yak cheese ones. Have you tried those? Theyre the best! Ive been working with a trainer to help build up my confidence, and to become the best boy ever for my future family! I love training, and Im looking for a family who enjoy helping me keep up my skills and learn new tricks too! Im a smart cookie, and I already know a ton! Im potty trained and crate trained, and I also know sit, down, come, stay, off, heel, and place, and Im practising my leash skills every single day. I like when my routine stays the same, and I know what to expect from my day. A family who will be able to keep my schedule consistent is going to be the best fit for me! Im also still getting used to city life (you try moving from the middle of nowhere to a major metropolis), and I dont love loud noises. Id probably do best with a family who lives outside of the city, and who have a yard where I can relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. I cant wait to join my forever family and give them all of my love! If you think we might be a match, apply to adopt me today!
